Study On The Design Of Floral Decorations In The Star-rated Hotel Environment ——Taking Wuhan Optics Valley Hilton Hotel As An Example

Against the backdrop of the rapid development of the national economy and the continuous updating of business models,China’s hotel industry has gradually become more specialized and internationalized.In order to regulate and manage the country,the hotel has divided the star standards,from one star to five stars in increasing specifications and grades.Five-star hotels,as the top level of star-rated hotels,have become the main venues to showcase the charm of the city and hold major exchange activities.Their service quality and furnishings environment convey the spirit of the times.Among them,the floral decoration is an important symbol to show the quality of the star hotel.It has the advantages of natural decoration and artistic beauty,and can display different style themes in the hotel space according to diverse needs.However,the current floral career in China is in a period of rapid development,and there is little research on the design of floral furnishings in hotel spaces.It is exposed that the lack of systematic theoretical research on floral furnishings in hotel spaces cannot form the status quo of design guidance.Therefore,it is an urgent problem to explore how to use the aesthetic value of floral art to enhance the quality of the hotel’s floral decoration,which is in line with contemporary people’s aesthetic pursuit.Therefore,this article initiated the design research on the star hotel’s floral decoration.This article firstly explores the development status,related concepts and practical cases at home and abroad.Taking the role of floral furnishings on the hotel space level and spiritual level as the entry point,the environmental design psychology,formal beauty rules and horticultural therapy are the guiding theories.Conduct preliminary research.Then through the use of five elements of color,shape,texture,meaning,and new materials to deconstruct and analyze the star hotel flower materials.Secondly,the detailed analysis of the construction of floral and environmental elements from the perspective of spatial functions,spatial attributes,lighting,themes and festivals,and then put forward the strategy of floral decoration of star hotels guided by design ideas,display forms and display directions to convey cultural and artistic expression,Highlight the theme and create functionality as the design direction,construct a new era of star hotel floral furnishings.Finally,based on the design practice of the Wuhan Wuhan Optics Valley Hilton Hotel,based on the overall analysis of the hotel environment,the above research methods are applied to the floral decoration of the hotel’s front hall,banquet hall,conference hall,restaurant,guest room and other spaces.In order to provide a theoretical reference and practical direction for reference to the research on the subject of floral decoration of current star-rated hotels.
