| In modern electronic warfare,chaff jamming is the earliest developed and most widely used passive jamming method,and an important protection when facing major threats.The development of radar system’s functions and capabilities has seriously affected the effectiveness of chaff jamming.This thesis takes helicopter self-defense jamming as a typical application.Through analyzing the factors that affect the effectiveness of chaff jamming,the thesis puts forward a strategy for improving the jamming effectiveness.This thesis selects helicopter’s chaff interference as a typical application to solve the aerial threat problem of single pulse radar seekers,and a mathematical model of helicopter,chaff bombs and missiles is constructed,and a helicopter’s chaff jamming dropped system has completed dynamic simulation in different battle situations,and proposed a chaff jamming dropped strategy under different battle situations.The main tasks completed are as follows:Firstly,the basic properties of the chaff are studied and analyzed.From the definition of the target’s scattering cross-sectional area,the calculation of the effective scattering crosssectional area of the chaff is derived.The parameters such as the common diffusion time,lagging time and landing speed of the chaff are analyzed.The interference methods and operational applications are introduced,which provides a theoretical basis for the simulation of chaff jamming;Secondly,according to the chaff diffusion’s index and parameters,a five-step diffusion’s model of chaff’s interference is established,and the five working states of storage,flight,unfolding,moving and disappearing of chaff are divided in detail,and the working conditions in different states are obtained.From the helicopter’s air movement process and scattering characteristics,the helicopter’s trajectory and radar’s cross-sectional area equations are established.From the working process and radar’s characteristics of the single pulse radar seekers,the missile’s trajectory and radar’s equations are established;Finally,a helicopter’s chaff jamming software is designed.Aiming at the air’s threat problem of ordinary single pulse radar seekers,a large number of dynamic compared experiments under different battle situations are completed.Radar’s tracking and trajectory information of helicopter and chaff projectiles are obtained,helicopter’s chaff jamming strategies under different conditions,jamming methods,helicopter’s maneuver avoidance,and chaff launching are proposed.Simulated results show that reasonable chaff’s placement can still produce good interference’s effects on single pulse radar seekers. |
