| The coastal area contains rich resources.With the rapid increase of population,the shortage of land space and the intensification of urbanization in coastal areas,the coastal area at the boundary between land and sea has become the focus of people’s attention and development.Under the background of urbanization,the evolution of old coastal communities reflects the decline of these old communities in the process of urban development,or the process of integration into the city,or the process of selfprosperity.Based on the fractal theory,this research uses the method of counting box dimension to calculate and analyze the fractal dimension of the old coastal community of Shapowei.This research explores a new method to expand the study of the old coastal community space,summarizes the fractal characteristics of the evolution of community space in Shapowei,and proposes an appropriate renewal strategy for Shapowei.Firstly,the box dimension method in fractal theory is used to calculate and analyze the fractal dimension of each group in the community boundary of the overall spatial form of Shapowei community in different periods.Through the induction and analysis of the calculation results,it is found that:in the whole community,the overall fractal dimension of the whole community decreases.The overall fractal dimension of the boundary increases,at the same time,the overall complexity of the whole community decreases.The space richness decreases,the community boundary becomes more and more complex,and the outer space of the community increases.Combined with the background of community development,the overall fractal evolution of the community is divided into three stages:natural growth,the incremental planning stage and the stock planning stage.Based on this division,this paper analyzes the main reasons to the fractal evolution from the perspective of community functional structure and architectural space.Then,the fractal dimension of each group is calculated and analyzed.According to the fractal dimension variation range of each group,the 12 groups are divided into three categories,which were successively defined as class I,class II and class III.It is found that the variation trends of the fractal dimensions of the three groups in the community are quite different,and the spatial changes of the groups in different locations in the community are also different.After the renewal of the planning,the changes of the functional structure and the architectural space in the community have some changes on the fractal dimension of each group.This reflects that the intervention of different degrees of artificial interference has a certain impact on the original spatial texture and spatial form of the community.Finally,through the fractal analysis of the spatial evolution of Shapowei community,this paper hopes to summarize the spatial evolution law of Shapowei community from a quantitative perspective and explore the renewal strategy of shapowei community.Moreover,it can provide the regional theoretical research support for the construction of the protection system of the old coastal communities in the future,and provide the design basis for the renewal and reconstruction of the old communities in the future coastal development. |
