| As an economical energy saving way,start-stop system is getting widely used in traditional cars and hybrid cars.Energy wasted in braking receives attention as well.The super capacitor has a high power density,fast charge and discharge performance,and a long cycle life.It is suitable for engine start-stop and braking energy recovery,so a new energy-saving system based on the super capacitor is proposed in this project.Firstly it is described that the application status and development direction of start stop system and braking energy recovery.The super capacitor energy saving system is proposed and the working process is presented briefly.According to the given car,the super capacitor is selected.The experiment is conducted to measure parameters of the super capacitor.The control strategy of start stop system is described.Aiming at the working condition,it is designed that the energy management control strategy according to the status of the car and the related components.Then a simulation model is built in AVL/CRUISE according to the given data about the vehicle,and the energy management control strategy is developed in SIMULINK.The simulation results shows that the fuel consumption declines by 5.34%,6.61% and 4.71% separately in NEDC,Japan_08 and Shanghai Taxi driving cycles.Finally,a test bench is established to debug the system.It is a preparing step for using in vehicle.It is conducted that the super capacitor starts the engine.The experiment shows that the high power output of the battery declines obviously. |
