| In recent years,after decades of rapid development,China has begun the transition to a new stage of high quality,sustainability,and mid-high speed.The power industry,which is the major artery of China’s economic industry,is also in urgent need of reform and innovation.The Remote Terminal Unit(RTU),as the core device of the distribution automation system,plays a crucial role in improving the power supply quality and reliability of the power system.The early Remote Terminal Unit which is subject to the microelectronics and communications technologies of the time.usually used a low-speed microcontroller chip with weak processing capability as the control core,and the majority of the data communications also used power cables that are expensive to install and difficult to maintain,that is why this kind of RTU can no longer meet the development needs of the future distribution network.Therefore,designing an Remote Terminal Unit with high data processing capability,convenient and reliable communication,low manufacturing cost,and easy maintenance is of great significance to the automation of distribution network construction.First of all,this article analyzes the development status and advantages and disadvantages of RTU at home and abroad,the it designs and implements a system with remote monitoring and control functions to meet the general RTU technical indicators.The entire system is divided into four modules: core control,electricity information acquirsition,wireless communication,and human-computer interaction.The system uses STM32 high-speed ARM processor as the control core,after collecting the electrical parameter signal output by the front-end signal conditioning circuit,the signal is sent to the GPRS wireless communication module through the internal serial of the control chip and forwarded to the remote dispatching center server,at the same time,the system receives instructions from the dispatching center to control the knife switch of the substation under its jurisdiction.Secondly,this paper establishes a Linux-based server for data storage and reception at a remote receiving end.The remote server receives the data through the socket communication and displays it on the user interface in real time.The server also uses microsoft structure quest language to make it possible to store the received data,so that the received data has periodic reliability.The entire system saves a large amount of cable laying costs and achieve the realization of real-time monitoring of substation site conditions by the remote operator.At last,this paper completes the design of each module circuit and power supply circuit and RS232 interface circuit.Based on the Keil’sprogramming environment,the article has written various module programs of RTU and A/D collection and interrupt service subroutine.We also soldered the hardware circuit board,set up an experimental platform,completed the acquisition experiment of the current voltage and frequency and GPRS data sending and receiving experiments.The experimental results are of high precision and stable data transmission and finally achieved the expected design goals. |
