As Chinese economy grows,the pace of development is faster and faster.The development path is not smooth sailing.The energy problem seriously restricts the development of the economy.In recent years,the power industry is developing rapidly along with the progress of science and technology,especially the continuous innovation of power electronics technology,which has solved many problems for the electric power industry,and constantly improved the power grid environment.More and more enterprises become large users,a large number of reactive power flow in power system caused a great active loss,caused a large waste of energy,but also the existence of harmonic on power quality caused by a bad influence,so this paper designed the static reactive power generator SVG,reactive power compensation of power system can be fast dynamic,improve the quality of the user’s power,and achieve the energy-saving purpose.In this paper,the research results of reactive power compensation devices at home and abroad,the classification of reactive compensators and their working principles are introduced.A detailed study of the various reactive current detecting method,through the comparison of various methods,finally chose the reactive current detection method based on instantaneous reactive power theory,and the method was improved due to the low pass filter itself has some defects,so that the moving window data integration method.The mathematical model of the SVG main circuit of the static var generator is constructed,and the optimal control scheme is selected by comparison and analysis.Control system in accordance with the current control can be divided into direct current control and indirect current control,analysis of the two control methods,and studied the deadbeat control method and control method of voltage vector space,so choose the direct current voltage space vector SVPWM control method,and the deadbeat control with voltage space vector the combination of control,so as to improve the real-time performance of the compensation current tracking control.The method of deadbeat predictive reactive current are analyzed,finally chose the prediction method based on repeated observations,and the prediction method was optimized,so that the actual value of the repeated correction and predictive value,and eliminate the error,eventually making to predict the current value and the actual value is close to.After theoretical research and design,build the internal SVG module in the MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation software,the load is simulated,and compared to the accession to the SVG and current waveform comparison without adding the reactive power compensation device when the current is obvious improved,also compared the output of reactive power with the active power,reactive power compensation device to verify the feasibility and advantage of the.Through the simulation results,we can draw a conclusion that the SVG can well restrain the harmonic and reactive compensation.Finally,the software and hardware of the system are designed.The flow chart of the main program is given,and the device selection calculation is carried out in the hardware part.These works are of great help for building the SVG experimental platform.
