Reactive power compensation is a very important issue affecting power quality.With the advancement of technology,the development of reactive power compensation technology has also increased rapidly.At present,there are many problems in the oil field power grid,such as increased reactive power and increased harmonic pollution.Among the many compensation devices,the Static Var Generator has the most advanced performance.SVG is a compensation device with very good effects in reactive power compensation and harmonic suppression,which can effectively improve the electric energy of the oil field grid.quality.The paper takes the static reactive power generator(SVG for short)as the research object.The static reactive power generator(SVG)is designed to improve the power quality of the oil field power grid,and the improvement of the SVG device is studied.The specific research contents are as follows:In this paper,based on the current situation of the Daqing Oil Field Power Grid,a static reactive power generator(SVG)is used to improve the power quality of the oil field power grid.Firstly,this article introduces the domestic and international research status and development process of reactive power compensation equipment,clearly points out the main problems of power quality in the current oil field power grid,clarifies the research significance of reactive power compensation,and introduces the basic working principle of SVG device,Response time,voltage and current characteristics and harmonic pollution suppression,device footprint,etc.were analyzed,and compared with other types of reactive power compensation equipment,the advantages of SVG were summarized,and the prospects of using static reactive power generators in the oil field power grid was elaborated.Secondly,the paper studied several practical reactive current detection methods and control strategies,analyzed the principles,compared them,tried to find the best method,and selected the dq0 method based on the three-phase instantaneous reactive power theory as the SVG reactive current.The detection method uses the space vector method(SVPWM)as the SVG control method,and points out its shortcomings.It proposes an improvement plan through the deadbeat control strategy,expounds the specific method of vector control,and develops the main program software of the control system.And the design scheme of the space vector subroutine software,the SVG is reasonably improved.Finally,the paper puts forward the improvement method of SVG device and the transformation plan of the substation,and uses Matlab/Simulink software for simulation to prove the correctness of the SVG improvement method.Then the transformation plan of the reactive power compensation equipment is applied to the oil field substation line.The actual test data proves that SVG can improve the important conclusion of oil field power quality,and verify the reliability of the scheme from the aspects of power factor,harmonic current distortion rate,current waveform and economic benefits.
