Fusion And Dialogue Of Material Language Of Fused Glass Art

When people talk about contemporary glass art,they tend to start with the "Glass Studio movement".In these 60 years,glass as a material has achieved a significant transformation from practicality to decoration and then to aesthetic concept.The realization of this transformation is inseparable from the joint effects of two aspects: one is the continuous exploration and breakthrough of glass art workers on materials and technology;The other is the fusion and dialogue between the material language of glass and various crafts and art categories.Among many forms of glass art,hot-melt glass technology has a symbolic language symbol in the art field because of its unique technological characteristics and artistic effects.With the development of science,the level of hot-melt glass production technology has broken through layers of barriers,and artists’ creation form is no longer from the standpoint of glass,but changed to glass material as the carrier and medium of artistic creation,to convey artistic concepts.Sufficient familiarity with various properties of materials is the first step to fully stimulate the characteristics of glass as a material,and then on this basis,explore the material language displayed by glass under different characteristics.In this paper,the material language of glass as the research direction,combined with glass hot melt technology,mainly from the fusion performance of a variety of glass materials and its application in the combination of two aspects,explore the characteristics of glass materials at the same time,the expression of glass material language for more in-depth analysis and exploration.
