In recent years, the competitiveness of the ecological environment has become a part of the country’s economic strength, and residents have paid more and more attention to the issue of air quality in the ecological environment.Severe air pollution not only harms the health of residents, but also hinders the construction of comfortable and livable cities and reduces residents’ happiness in life.Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the surrounding areas("2+26" cities),as the transmission channel cities of air pollution, are also one of the areas with prominent air pollution problems in China. It is imperative to improve their air pollution conditions and build a green ecological environment. This paper takes Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the surrounding areas("2+26" cities)as the research object, explores the current situation of air quality in the region from the perspective of temporal and spatial changes, and builds a time-fixed effect SDM model to analyze the impact of various socioeconomic factors on air quality.Joint pollution control provides feasible suggestions, and promotes the "2+26" cities ecological environment construction and economic coordinated development. The main research conclusions are as follows: First, the AQI of the air quality index shows an overall change trend from "high in winter and low in summer" to "high in winter and summer and low in spring and autumn".Secondly, the spatial autocorrelation test found that the air quality index AQI showed a significant positive correlation, and the local spatial autocorrelation test found that four cities in Henan Province,Zhengzhou,Kaifeng,Jiaozuo, and Hebi, all moved from the third quadrant to the first in2014-2019.In the quadrant, the regional air quality has changed from a better area in2014 to the most serious area in 2019,indicating that the air pollution in Henan Province has improved the least, and more rigorous and effective control measures need to be taken;by selecting the average annual AQI as the explained variable,10socio-economic indicators are used as explanatory variables to conduct gray correlation analysis, and an SDM model is constructed to analyze the influencing factors of air quality in "2+26" cities. The empirical study finds that the gray correlation between AQI and various socio-economic factors is greater than 0.7,the urbanization rate and the proportion of foreign capital actually utilized in GDP in that year were significantly negatively correlated with AQI,and the proportion of secondary industry in GDP,population density, urban built-up area, electricity consumption and total natural gas supply in the whole society were significantly positively correlated with AQI.Finally, policy suggestions for improving the air quality in the region are put forward from five aspects: transformation and upgrading of industrial structure, rational promotion of urbanization, improvement of energy utilization efficiency, increase of foreign investment proportion and improvement of environmental and economic policies.
