| Carbon emission efficiency reflects an energy utilization efficiency,that is,it reflects the carbon emissions caused by generating production benefits in production activities.The higher the carbon emission efficiency,the higher the overall efficiency of energy utilization.With the convening of the 19 th National Congress of the CPC,the ecological economy has become a national strategy.While pursuing economic development,a large amount of energy consumption has been generated,and the negative impact of carbon dioxide on the environment is also becoming increasingly apparent.Industrial structure reveals the dependence and correlation of technology and economy between industries.Most of China’s carbon emissions are caused by industrial production,and the industrial structure has an impact on carbon emissions.China has proposed to achieve a carbon peak by 2030 and become carbon neutral by 2060.China is regarded as a key area of international carbon emissions.How to achieve low-carbon development is of great significance.Under the background of China’s low-carbon economic development,studying the relationship between China’s industrial structure adjustment and carbon emission efficiency plays an important role in implementing energy conservation and emission reduction policies in various regions and realizing regional coordinated green development.This paper carefully summarizes and analyzes the research results of the existing literature,Introduce the theoretical mechanisms related to industrial structure and carbon emission,Based on industrial structure theory and low-carbon economics,Select carbon emission per unit of GDP as the measurement index of carbon emission efficiency,Measure the industrial structure by using the two indicators of industrial structure rationalization and industrial structure advanced,respectively,Join the five control variables of economic development level,energy consumption structure,urbanization level,technological progress and foreign direct investment,Fixed-effect models for 30 provinces and cities（excluding Tibet）,eastern,western,central and northeast China,How the industrial structure affects the efficiency of carbon emission is analyzed from multiple angles,It mainly contains the following several conclusions:（1）Nationwide,The rationalization of industrial structure and the advanced industrial structure have a certain role in promoting the carbon emission efficiency,The level of economic development and energy consumption structure inhibit carbon emissions efficiency,The level of urbanization,scientific and technological innovation and foreign direct investment have no significant impact on carbon emission efficiency;（2）for the eastern region,The advanced level of industrial structure promotes the efficiency of carbon emissions;For the Western Region,The rationalization level of industrial structure promotes the efficiency of carbon emission;For the central region,The advanced level of industrial structure and the rationalization of industrial structure have no significant effect on carbon emission efficiency,Urbanization,economic development level and technological progress can promote the efficiency of carbon emission efficiency,The influence of energy structure is the opposite;In terms of the Northeast region,The more advanced the level of industrial structure is,The higher the carbon emission efficiency,The rationalization of industrial structure also promotes the efficiency of carbon emissions;（3）About the control variables,There are regional differences in the level of economic development,urbanization,scientific and technological innovation,energy structure and foreign direct investment.Using the empirical analysis results of the model and the existing economic development level of each region,targeted and operational policy suggestions are put forward.Focus on the development of the tertiary industry with "high added value and low energy consumption",pay attention to improving their own industrial structure transformation capacity,and realize the optimal allocation of resources.Promote the rationalization of industrial structure,advanced,focus on the quality of urbanization process,help to save resources urban development mode,strengthen the research and development of low carbon science and technology,the introduction of advanced energy saving technology,can also through tax policies to develop and use high efficiency,low pollution of clean new energy,reduce our economic dependence on energy,effectively solve the problem of the current carbon low efficiency. |
