Contact lens has become one of the indispensable daily necessities.Silicone hydrogel lenses have become the mainstream products in the contact lens market due to their high permeability and high comfort,replacing silicone hydrogel lenses.Therefore,developing high efficiency and low toxicity liquid for silicone hydrogel lenses has great market value.When lenses are worn,direct contact with human cornea,the protein and lipid in tear can be deposited on the surface of lens,causing pollution of lens,wearing comfort and eye disease[1].These have been confirmed and attracted high attention,and higher requirements for hydrogel care solution have been put forward.Therefore,the international market leader Bausch & Lomb,Alcon has developed a new type of nursing solution for silicone hydrogel lenses,and has been updated year by year.In this paper,a new type of silicone hydrogel contact lens care solution was designed and developed.For the first time,a variety of carbohydrate derivatives were introduced into the nursing solution for the first time and their compatibility was studied.Firstly,the sterilization performance of nursing solution was studied.The bactericidal rates of the nursing solution to Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans were 99.99%,99.99% and99.97%,respectively;Secondly,the MTT test of the nursing solution showed that the proliferation rate of mouse fibroblasts was 98.17%,the toxicity was zero,and the biocompatibility was high;The artificial tears with high lipid and high protein were prepared,and the cleaning performance of nursing solution was studied.The results showed that the ester removal efficiency of nursing solution was 55.75%,which was higher than 43.99% of Bausch & Lomb nursing solution,and the protein removal efficiency was 15.55%,which was also better than that of Bausch & Lomb nursing solution.It can be seen that the nursing solution has a good effect on the elimination of esters and proteins;Finally,the physical and chemical properties of the nursing solution were tested.The nursing solution was colorless and transparent,with p H value of 7.26 and osmotic pressure of 303 m Osm / kg.Its physical and chemical parameters met the requirements of GB 19192-2003 "Hygienic requirements for contact lens nursing solution";The contact angle of nursing solution was 38.6 °,The surface tension was 29.13 Mn / m,which was lower than that of boshilun nursing solution and Haichang nursing solution.The results of contact angle and surface tension showed that the moisturizing property of the nursing solution was better than that of the commercial products.Therefore,our self-made contact lens care solution is in a leading position compared with the same products in the market.
