Abstract/Summary:
Epoxy resin(EP)has excellent electrical insulation capabilities,low shrinkage,excellent mechanical properties,and strong alkalinity to heterogeneous substrates,which are often used as anti-corrosion coatings.MXene,with its excellent performances,formed a"labyrinth effect"in the epoxy resin matrix,prolonged the corrosion path,and maked up for the problems that the epoxy resin was prone to generate micropores due to solvent evaporation and curing heat during preparation and use,thus obtaining an epoxy resin coating with better corrosion resistance.In order to solve the problem of the coating,the MXene-EP composite coatings were prepared by preparing two new two-dimensional materials Ti3C2Tx,Ti2CTxhydrocolloid,and dating the waterborn epoxy resin as an anti-corrosion additives,which have passed electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,water absorption,and salt spray tests for its anti-corrosion performance.The specific contents are as follows:(1)Ti3C2Tx and Ti2CTx were prepared by aqueous etching method,in which the etchant was HCl/Li F,and single-layer Ti3C2Tx and Ti2CTxhydrocolloids were prepared by ultrasonic separation.The results of studying H+,Li+and centrifugal parameters on MXene shown that:the concentration of H+and Li+decreased,the separation rates increased;the centrifugal separation increased,the separation rates also increased,and the substitution effect was better.(2)Ti3C2Tx-EP composite coatings were prepared by liquid phase blending method.With the introduction of Ti3C2Tx nanosheets improved the corrosion resistance of waterborn epoxy resin.After immersed in 3.5 wt%Na Cl solution for 984 h,the water absorption of epoxy composite coating was 1.5%lower than that of pure EP coating,and the impedance modulus of composite coatings at the lowest frequency was 1.5~2.5 orders of magnitude higher than that of pure EP coating.When the addition amount of Ti3C2Txwas 1.0 wt%,the epoxy composite coating had the highest impedance modulus and the best corrosion protection.(3)Ti2CTx-EP composite coatings were prepared by liquid phase blending method.With the introduction of Ti2CTx nanosheets,the corrosion resistance of epoxy resin was improved to a certain degree.After immersed in3.5 wt%Na Cl solution for 984 h,the water absorption of epoxy composite coating was 1.4%lower than that of pure EP coating,and the impedance modulus of composite coatings at the lowest frequency was 1~2 order of magnitude higher than that of pure EP coating.When the addition amount of Ti2CTx nanosheets was 1.0 wt%,the impedance modulus was the highest and the corrosion protection was better.
