Research On The Impact Of Producer Services And Manufacturing Collaborative Agglomeration On Environmental Pollution

After years of development,our country has made great achievements in economic construction,China has made great achievements in economic construction,and GDP has exceeded 100 trillion RMB in 2020.However,behind the economic development is the destruction of the environment.According to statistics,more than half of the cities in China failed to meet the standards of air quality in 2019 and the loss caused by environmental damage is hundreds of millions.It is important to transform the way of economic development.One of the most significant sally ports is to promote the integration of manufacturing and productive services.Both the world and China are actively promoting the industrial development mode of "manufacturing + service".The collaborative agglomeration of two industries has an important impact on the regional environment.How to play its positive role in environment improvement has become the focus of this paper.The paper analyzed the mechanism of collaborative agglomeration to influence pollution in quantitative and qualitative aspect and then draw conclusions and policy suggestions.Based on the above research background and purpose,this paper summarized the literature from three aspects: industrial agglomeration and environmental pollution,productive service industry and manufacturing industry,and the collaborative agglomeration and environmental pollution,provided the thinking for the following theoretical analysis and empirical researches.Through qualitative analysis,it is found that the collaborative agglomeration of two industries affects environmental pollution from five aspects.From the scale effect,competition effect,spillover effect and sharing effect,it can be seen that the collaborative agglomeration is useful to improve the environmental quality,while in the crowding effect perspective,the collaborative agglomeration leads to the deterioration of environmental quality.In the empirical research part,referring to the existing literature,and in view of the availability and integrity of the data,this paper selects the provincial data from 2008 to2017,and identifies the six service industries with(GB / t4754-2017)two digit code in the range of 53-60 and 63-75 as producer services,while the manufacturing industry selects all industries with two digit code in the range of 13-43,and uses the E-G index for reference PM2.5 is used as the index to weigh environmental pollution,and the twoway fixed effect model is applied to estimate the benchmark model.Furthermore,considering the temporal and spatial heterogeneity of environmental pollution,the static spatial lag model and the dynamic spatial lag model are used for regression.Finally,regional heterogeneity,industry heterogeneity and robustness are tested.The empirical results show that there is a negative correlation between the collaborative agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing industries and the regional environmental pollution.The improvement of the level of industrial collaborative agglomeration is conducive to enhance the quality of environment,and the role of industrial collaborative agglomeration in the central and western regions is greater for improving environmental quality;the influence of agglomeration on environment has industry heterogeneity.The resource and technology intensive heavy polluting manufacturing industry is more conducive to the treatment of environmental pollution by matching the financial industry,scientific research and technical service industry which are also capital and technology intensive.Environmental pollution is timedependent,and the environmental pollution in the previous period has a strong positive impact on the current period,while the environmental pollution in the adjacent areas will significantly affect the local environment pollution level of the area.Finally,the paper poses policy suggestions: plan industrial policy reasonably,guide the collaborative layout of producer services and manufacturing;adjust measures to local conditions,elaborate the collaborative agglomeration policy of producer services and manufacturing;strengthen regional linkage,formulate long-term pollution prevention and control strategy;mobilize a variety of economic factors,stimulate the vitality of enterprises,give full play to the two The environmental improvement effect of collaborative agglomeration should take economic development and environmental protection into account.
