Research On The Impact Of Environmental Interviews On Corporate Environmental Performance

With the rapid development of China’s economy,problems such as environmental pollution and ecological damage are becoming more and more serious.Therefore,China actively formulates relevant policies to strengthen the current pollution control and protection work.In 2015,China implemented the environmental protection law,and in2018,China formally implemented the environmental protection tax law.Although the above policies to a certain extent achieved the win-win situation of environmental improvement and sustainable development,they were criticized for their low efficiency in the implementation process.In order to solve this problem,the interim measures of the ministry of environmental protection on meeting and discussion formulated by the ministry of environmental protection in 2014 has been fully implemented in China.The environmental protection interview mainly urges the local government to enhance the awareness of environmental protection and improve the level of local environmental law enforcement by warning the local government and proposing rectification requirements for the corresponding environmental problems.Compared with environmental regulation,environmental protection interview is the follow-up supervision means for the implementation effect of environmental regulation,and it is the accountability measure taken by the central government for the failure of local government environmental governance.At the macro level,the implementation of the environmental interview system to some extent breaks the dilemma of the passive environmental governance of the central policy and improves the effect and efficiency of environmental governance.At the micro level,how does the implementation of the environmental interview system affect the long-term and short-term heterogeneity of enterprise environmental performance? What is the impact path of environmental protection interview system on enterprise environmental governance?Therefore,based on the micro enterprises as the research Angle of view,based on the sustainable development theory,the regulation of economic theory and corporate social responsibility theory,empirically environmental questioning to the enterprise short-term effect of the influence of environmental performance and environmental performance for a long time,and to further examine the environmental questioning to the enterprise long-term and short-term environmental performance heterogeneity influence path.The research conclusion of this paper shows that: first,the central government’senvironmental interview has a significant role in promoting the short-term and long-term environmental performance of enterprises;Second,in the short-term impact,environmental protection interviews promote the short-term environmental performance of enterprises by increasing their environmental costs,and in the long-term impact,environmental protection interviews promote the long-term environmental performance of enterprises by improving their technological innovation.The conclusion of this paper reveals the way that the environmental protection interview system affects the environmental performance of enterprises,which is of great significance for improving the environmental protection interview system and providing experimental experience for establishing a long-term and feasible environmental protection governance model.Compared in terms of the existing research,this article for the influence of environmental protection for questioning to the enterprise long-term environmental performance provides the empirical experience,from the perspective of both short-term and long-term heterogeneity further to explore the influence of environmental protection for questioning on corporate environmental performance path,in order to strengthen environmental management put forward with the combination of two different paths of the effective measures of flexible improve the ability of the government’s response to environmental issues,improve the government executive and management ability,and promote economic and social comprehensive,coordinated and sustainable development.
