Research On Innovative Design Of Mother-of-pearl Decoration In Modern Food Box

Mother-of-pearl decoration is an important part of Chinese traditional decoration technology,which has immeasurable technological and cultural value after successive generations of inheritance and innovation.As the material carrier of food culture,food box not only has materiality,but also carries the spirit of exploration of creators.In recent years,the modernization of mother-of-pearl products and food boxes is not optimistic.The craft of mother-of-pearl has more inheritance than innovation,and food boxes can not meet the growing material,cultural,aesthetic and emotional needs of modern people in both external form and internal culture.Both of them are in urgent need of injecting new energy.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the innovative development of modernization.The main body of the paper is divided into the following five parts: The first part is the introduction,through the investigation and sorting out relevant information,determine the research direction,purpose and significance,innovation points and methods,determine the framework of the paper;In the second part,based on the historical data of Chinese traditional mother-of-pearl craft,various techniques and decorative characteristics of the traditional craft of mother-of-pearl inlay are summarized,as well as the inheritance status of mother-of-pearl craft and the status of mother-of-pearl products.The third part mainly tells the history,function,value and present situation of food box;The fourth part firstly analyzes the combination point of mother-of-pearl decoration and catering box design and the trend of innovative design,and then clarifies the direction of innovative design.Finally,the innovative design elements are summarized to provide theoretical basis for subsequent innovative design research.The fifth part is the design practice part.According to the theoretical basis of the previous analysis,three sets of food box works are designed,thus providing a new design idea for the design of food box with mother-of-pearl inlay.The innovative design of mother-of-pearl decoration in modern food boxes is not only the innovation of mother-of-pearl decoration and the inheritance of mother-of-pearl culture,but also the exploration of the national cultural connotation of modern food boxes.Traditional mother-of-pearl decoration and modern food box design complement each other.Through the application of the traditional decoration techniques of mother-of-pearl decoration in the modern transformation of food boxes,the inheritance of modern food culture can be realized.On the basis of continuing the excellent traditional Chinese mother-of-pearl craft,the modern food box design can be infused with new vitality.
