Innovative Application Of Yi Lacquerware In Bag Decoration Desig

With the improvement of China’s overall economic strength,the country is increasingly emphasizing cultural self-confidence,and promoting the dynamic inheritance of intangible cultural heritage is also a new requirement given by the times.In August 2021,the document "Opinions on Further Strengthening the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage" was issued,indicating the direction for the inheritance and protection of intangible cultural heritage.As an intangible cultural heritage,Yi lacquerware is renowned for its primitive shapes,gorgeous colors,and unique and mysterious patterns.It combines practicality and aesthetics,attracting the attention of consumers.However,through research,the author found that although the Yi lacquerware on the market has a strong cultural appeal,its product homogeneity is serious,its shape and style are too traditional,lacks a sense of design,and its adaptability to modern life is not strong enough to attract consumers’ attention.The overall development is in a stagnant state.Therefore,from the perspective of design and application,this topic aims to explore the innovative application of Yi lacquerware package decoration products,expand the innovative application ideas of Yi lacquerware,make it more suitable for modern aesthetic needs for daily use,and also bring certain economic benefits to inheritors,playing a role in inheriting and developing Yi lacquerware.Based on extensive review of relevant literature at home and abroad,analysis of design cases,and field research,this article first summarizes the current design status and development trends of lacquerware and its application in package decoration products.Secondly,it introduces the Yi lacquerware technology,and analyzes the artistic characteristics and cultural connotation of Yi lacquerware from three aspects: shape,color,and pattern.Through the STP analysis method,the market of Yi lacquerware was analyzed to determine the positioning of Yi lacquerware packaging products.After that,based on the previous analysis,combined with product positioning needs and application methods,five innovative application ideas for Yi lacquerware package design were proposed,namely,extracting traditional patterns of Yi lacquerware for innovation while highlighting cultural connotations;Innovate the patterns and styles of Yi lacquerware while retaining artistic features;Enrich the types and functions of Yi lacquerware package decoration products on the basis of their applicability to life;Combining market orientation and designing for different consumer classes;Combining wool felt technology and leather materials with Yi lacquerware to innovate in the combination of materials and processes.Finally,the theory is applied to practice to guide the completion of the Yi lacquerware package design.
