| Ecosystem services are the basis of resources and environment on which human beings depend for survival and development. It refers to all the benefits obtained by human beings directly or indirectly.Watershed ecosystem services provide the necessary material basis for the survival of residents and constitute the basic elements for the well-being of local residents.Developing countries and regions are particularly dependent on them.Since the United Nations released the Millennium Ecosystem Services Value Assessment Report(MA)in 2005,the integration of ecosystem services has become an important strategy to promote sustainable development. The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that ‘building an ecological civilization is a long-term task of vital importance to the well-being of the people and the future of the nation’.The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)included for the first time in the CPC Constitution and Constitution the concept that ‘establishing and practicing lucent waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets’,making a fundamental, overarching and historic strategic plan for ecological progress.Water is the source of life, the essential of production and the basis of ecology.Water ecological civilization is an important component and basic guarantee of ecological civilization. In May 2018,the construction of water ecological civilization in the Yangtze River Basin was comprehensively promoted under the guidance of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought, and the harmonious coexistence and benign interaction between human society and water was promoted. The Xin’an River Basin is the country’s first inter-provincial basin ecological compensation mechanism initiated and promoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and is an important place for Xi Jinping’s thoughts on ecological civilization.Since 2012,three rounds of pilot work have been carried out.The construction of ecological civilization in the Xin’an River Basin is the result of the joint efforts of all entities. In previous studies, most of the research objects were complete administrative units, and there was little analysis of the interest demands and preferences of groups involving social and economic characteristics of different administrative regions, especially in areas with relatively backward development, where residents’ perception of the importance of watershed ecosystem services still insufficient, some objective indicators may not reflect residents’ judgments on multi-dimensional well-being.Therefore,this thesis takes watershed ecosystem services and the well-being of local residents as the starting point, takes the residents of the upper and lower reaches of the Xin’an River basin as the research object, takes the ecological civilization construction of the main body of the research as the logical line, and considers the importance of ‘the upper and lower reaches of the river basin and the importance of watershed ecosystem services Sexual knowledge,multi-dimensional well-being assessment of residents, and the relationship between watershed ecosystem services and residents’ are the main research lines, trying to reveal the impact mechanism of crossregional watershed governance and sustainable development from the perspective of ecosystem services and residents’ well-being.The thesis is divided into three parts:The first part(Chapter 1,2 and 3): introduces the research background, research significance, research objectives and problems, research ideas and methods, and explains the research data and data sources. This paper reviews the related research at home and abroad, introduces and analyzes the concepts and connotations of watershed ecosystem services and residents’ well-being,etc.Introduce the relevant situation of the case, the corresponding questionnaire design and the basic situation of the questionnaire. The second part(Chapter 4,5 and 6)is the main part of the paper. The fourth chapter mainly measures the awareness of upstream and downstream residents’ awareness of the importance of ecosystem services in the river basin and its changing trends from the perspective of the whole and the part, identifies the associated variables of the ecosystem services in the river basin, and screens out the main indicators to determine the impact on the residents’ ecosystem services The key element of importance perception. The results show that the residents pay more attention to regulation services as a whole, and flood and air conditioning are the regulation services that residents pay most attention to.There is no significant difference in the recognition of the importance of support services between upstream and downstream residents. The upstream residents pay more attention to biodiversity, while the downstream residents pay more attention to climate regulation;overall ecosystem services are increasing. The situation observed in the downstream is not inconsistent, mainly manifested in the trend of significant growth and maintaining the same;whether it is overall or upstream and downstream, there is a certain correlation within the ecosystem services, but the contribution of each service to its type is not consistent, and there is a certain correlation between various types;the residents’ perception of the importance of ecosystem services is significantly related to the respondents’ education level, main source of income, geographical characteristics and other factors.Chapter 5 focuses on the overall and upstream and downstream residents’ assessment of their own well-being,identifying related variables of well-being and measuring the main influencing factors, and determining the main factors that affect the multi-dimensional well-being assessment of residents. The results show that: as a whole, residents pay more attention to the well-being of the health dimension, and the air quality and drinking water quality are particularly obvious. In addition to the social relationship dimension, there are significant differences in the well-being perceptions of upstream and downstream residents.Among them, the upstream residents generally agree with their family harmony, while the downstream residents show a higher degree of recognition for the happiness of life.Regardless of whether it is the whole or the upstream and downstream, there is a certain correlation within the well-being of the residents of the river basin, but the interpretation of the various well-beings on the dimension of the well-being is not consistent, and there is also a certain correlation between the various well-being dimensions. The regression results show that age, income, and educational level significantly affect residents’ assessment of their own well-being.Chapter 6 takes the residents along the upper and lower reaches of the Xin’an River as the research object, trying to determine the complex relationship between ecosystem services and well-being in the river basin, explore the coupling relationship between the two,and summarize the coupling mechanism to provide environmental protection and economic and social development Scientific basis. The results show that there is a certain correlation between the ecosystem services of the watershed and the residents within and between groups. From the perspective of the functional relationship, the relationship between cultural services and residents’ well-being is the most significant on the whole. The well-being of upstream residents is closely related to regulating services, while the downstream is the closest to providing services.Watershed ecosystem services provide all the elements of the well-being of residents. The relationship between the two is relatively complex, and the interactive feedback is obvious, forming a two-way impact. The third part(Chapter 7): is the conclusion part of the full text.It summarizes the main results of the research, points out the deficiencies of the research, and prospects for further research. |
