As one of the important chemical equipment,the reactor provides the corresponding reaction space and reaction conditions for the materials involved in the reaction in the mixing process,which plays a vital role in the production process.In general,there are some problems in gas-liquid reactor,such as uneven gas distribution and poor gas-liquid mixing effect.Therefore,a 10m~3 reactor and a double suction turbine agitator are designed in this thesis.Based on the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method,the gas-liquid two-phase flow in the reactor equipped with double suction turbine agitator was simulated.On the base of the numerical simulation results,the double suction turbine agitator was optimized.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The structure and working characteristics of gas-liquid stirred reactor were studied.According to the problems and influencing factors in the reaction process and the analysis results,a 10m~3 reactor was developed and designed.Based on the curved blade disk turbine agitator,a double suction turbine agitator is designed.(2)Euler-Euler model,RNG K-ε turbulence model and multiple reference frame(MRF)method were used to simulate the internal flow field of the reactor with double suction turbine agitator.The flow pattern in the reactor is in line with the characteristics of radial flow.The stirrer has a strong ability to transport gas and the gas dispersion effect is ideal.(3)In order to study gas-liquid dispersion characteristics of double suction turbine agitator,four influencing factors were studied under the condition of ventilation rate of 660m~3/h.The stirring speed of four groups was 270rpm,370 rpm,470 rpm and 570 rpm;The installation heights of the four agitators are 440mm,640mm,840mm and 1040mm;The blade diameters of four agitators are 350mm,500mm,650mm and 800mm;The inner hole diameter of ring cover plate of four agitators is 170mm,200mm,230mm and 260mm.The results show that when the diameter of double suction turbine agitator is 370mm,the installation height is640mm,the blade diameter is 500mm and the inner hole diameter is 200mm,the mixing effect between gas and liquid is the best,the agitator has strong gas conveying capacity,the gas distribution in the reactor is wide and uniform,and the gas hold-up at the corresponding position is maintained in an ideal and high range.
