Abstract/Summary:
In this thesis,Aspen Plus process simulation software is used to simulate and analyze the sulfuric acid production process by sulfur method.It is concluded that the transformation of SO2 to SO3 changes with the excess oxygen content in the tail gas.Within a certain concentration range,the oxygen content in the tail gas decreases,which has no obvious effect on the transformation of SO2,but the SO3 content in the gas phase can increase significantly,which is conducive to the production of fuming sulfuric acid.After the oxygen content in the tail gas is reduced,the concentration of SO2 increases greatly.For the high content of SO2 in the tail gas,the second conversion absorption is usually used to meet the emission requirements.Considering that there is a large amount of waste sulfuric acid in the current society,the preparation of ammonium sulfate is an important way in the treatment of waste sulfuric acid.Therefore,this paper simulates the process of recovering SO2by ammonia absorption method,and uses waste sulfuric acid to regenerate SO2 and obtain ammonium sulfate product,so as to realize the recycling of SO2.At the same time,the technology,energy consumption level and development trend of SO2 recovery by ionic liquid absorption method are analyzed and summarized.It is considered that the recovery of SO2 from tail gas of sulfuric acid production by ionic liquid absorption method is economical,feasible,flexible and convenient.Based on the above simulation and analysis,this paper creatively puts forward a new process of sulfuric acid production from lean oxygen method to one absorption method,simulates and analyzes the possible problems after the oxygen content is reduced,and puts forward the corresponding solutions.After that,the advantages and disadvantages of the three processes are compared from the aspects of cost comparison,product scheme,energy saving and environmental protection.Compared with the two conversion and two absorption process,the lean oxygen sulfuric acid process has lower investment and operation cost,stronger adjustability of product scheme,and more steam(0.285 t/T sulfuric acid)production than the two conversion and two absorption process.From the perspective of environmental protection,the sulfur dioxide emission of 300 kt/a sulphuric acid production unit with lean oxygen one to one absorption process is 144.8 T/a less than that of two to two absorption process.If this part of recovered sulfur dioxide is used to produce 98%sulphuric acid,the output of sulphuric acid can be increased by 221.7 T/A.In 2019,China’s sulphur burning sulphuric acid production will be 41.6713.64 million tons.Assuming that this part of sulphuric acid production adopts the process of lean oxygen to one absorption sulphuric acid production,the annual sulphur dioxide emission of sulphur burning sulphuric acid production will be reduced by 20113 tons,and the sulfuric acid production will be increased by 98% by 30798.6 tons.
