| Firstly, the existing problems of high consumption in Sinogpc’s2#phenol unit are analyzed and compared with the similar advanced technology. The suitable energy-saving solution has been determined. The reconstruction optimized the oxidation technology and oxidation reaction conditions. We reconstruct oxidized off-gas treatment facilities and make the treatment more economic and environmentally friendly. In the meanwhile, we replace secondary cumene stripping tower system with climbing/falling film cumene stripping system, sulphuric acid catalyst technology and sodium phenolate neutralization technology with resin decomposition technology. We improved the yield of phenol and distillation separation system by heat integrated coupling. The process of dehydrocarbon system has been simplified which increased the ability of hydrocarbon removal and reduced consumption. The wastewater treatment system has been improved. We increased the wastewater treatment ability and decreased the subsequent biochemical treatment load. AMS hydrogenation system has been added and by-product has been recycled and reused. By analyzing the factors that effect consumption, we take measures to optimize operations. Finally we have achieved significant results and the consumption of unit was reduced step by step. The disadvantage of poor product competitiveness, the operational security, stability and high energy consumption have been improved through reconstruction.The project has been completed and the unit was put into production for three years. Production capacity increased by67%, energy consumption per unit of product is reduced in41%, material consumption per unit of product is reduced in5.2%, sewage emissions decreased by18.2%, the COD discharge is decreased significantly. The product quality has been greatly improved, creating a good economic and environmental benefits, achieving the goal of energy saving. |
