| As china’s capital economic circle, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region must not only achieve coordinated economic development, but also emphasize coordinated environmental development. The CO2 transfer relationship between various industries in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is complicated, issues such as optimizing resource allocation, improving energy efficiency, and adjusting energy structure need to be solved urgently to promote the comprehensive and coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. This paper uses the multi-regional input-output data in 2002,2007,and 2012,based on the MRIO model combined with complex network and structural path analysis,to analyze the status of CO2 emissions in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from2002 to 2012,and constructs the complex network of CO2 transfer in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in 2012.At the same time, the CO2 transfer in the region was analyzed from the three aspects of network structure characteristics, key industries, and critical paths. The results show that the CO2 emissions of Hebei Province dominate the entire region and the growth rate is higher than that of Beijing and Tianjin. The changes of CO2emissions intensity in each region are uneven, and the rate of decrease of CO2 emission intensity of Hebei’s industrial and construction industry is significantly lower than that of Beijing and Tianjin. The CO2 emission intensity of tertiary industry in Beijing and Tianjin is decreasing year by year. The reduction of CO2 emission intensity is the main factor for restraining CO2 emission in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the expansion of per capita economic scale and the changes in the demand for fixed capital formation in Hebei Province are the factors with the largest driving effect. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region CO2 transfer network belongs to a small-world network, and each industry in the network is closely related.Changes in one industry may cause changes in the entire network. In this network, the construction industry in Hebei and Tianjin and the transportation equipment manufacturing industry in Hebei are the largest acceptance sectors, the electric industry in Hebei and Tianjin, and the non-metallic products industry in Hebei are the largest emission industry, and other service industries in Beijing and Hebei,Hebei’s transportation and postal industry is the main transit industry.Emission reduction in these key industries will significantly increase the network emission reduction effect.Self-sufficiency is a major feature of Hebei province, with Beijing receiving the most CO2support from other regions."Hebei-Metallurgy→Hebei-Construction"is the path with the largest emission in the network,"Hebei-Metallurgy→Beijing-Construction"is the path with the largest interprovincial transfer amount in this region,and"Hebei-Electricity→Hebei-Metallurgy→Hebei-Construction"is the non-self-circulation indirect transfer path with the largest emission amount, and the critical paths should be paid attention to.Finally, this paper provides some policy suggestions for policy makers based on the conclusion. The innovation of this paper is to treat the CO2 transfer process in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as a closely connected network system, and use complex network theory to determine the key industries of CO2 emissions in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Combining the structural path analysis method to track the critical path in the network, the CO2 transfer in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is analyzed from the perspective of the overall network system. |
