| In the context of deepening the reform of state-owned enterprises,high-quality development has become the goal and guiding direction of future state-owned enterprise reforms.Traditional industries urgently need to transform and upgrade in terms of ecological and environmental protection to support the high-quality development of enterprises.As a state-owned enterprise in the cement manufacturing industry in Beijing,BBMG has been affected by the macroeconomic downturn since 2014.It has faced the triple pressure of oversupply,sluggish demand,and policy regulation.It has become increasingly difficult to survive,and transformation and upgrading are imperative.At present,there are few studies on the transformation and upgrading path of enterprises in academia with specific cases,and lack of exploration of the transformation and upgrading path of enterprises from the perspective of capital optimization.In addition,grounded theory is rarely used as a research method in this field to refine and form new mechanism explanations from the bottom up.The core research question of this article is how does BBMG realize its transformation and upgrading?This paper uses grounded theoretical qualitative research methods to conduct a case study on the transformation and upgrading realization path of Beijing’s state-owned BBMG Group.Through the core categories refined by the three-level coding of the programmatic grounding method,the theory of the transformation and upgrading realization path is constructed.model.The research found in this article: First,stateowned enterprise groups through strategic and objective transformation,institutional reforms,technological innovation,and business sustainable growth are effective ways to achieve transformation and upgrading.Second,state-owned enterprises transform their own strategies and objectives to provide development positioning for the transformation and upgrading of enterprises;the transformation and upgrading of enterprises is a continuous process,and institutional guarantees are provided through institutional reforms,and technological innovation provides the driving force for enterprise development to ensure that the transformation and upgrading are obtained.Effective development;sustainable business growth is the key to enterprise transformation and upgrading.State-owned enterprises strengthen traditional main businesses to achieve high-quality growth of traditional businesses,cultivate emerging industries so that businesses have future growth potential,achieve traditional business upgrades,and cultivate emerging businesses to achieve transformation.Sustainable business growth will promote corporate transformation and upgrading to support high-quality development,which ultimately manifests itself in corporate performance improvement and value creation.The transformation of stock capital and the upgrading of incremental capital dominate the transfer of value in the transformation and upgrading path.Third,optimizing the allocation of capital and assets in the core focus enterprises with a high degree of centralization of the industrial network of state-owned enterprise groups will form resource guidance and agglomeration effects for other members,which will help improve the efficiency of resource allocation of enterprise groups.The innovations of this article include: First,use grounded theoretical research methods to generate a classic three-level coding structure,build a theoretical model of transformation and upgrade path,and provide a new theoretical mechanism explanation for the implementation mode of capital optimization driving transformation and upgrading;Second,take the optimal allocation of capital as the starting point,explore its role logic in the transformation and upgrading path,and expand the research on the transformation and upgrading path.The research significance of this article includes: at the theoretical level,the research on the transformation and upgrading path is expanded from the perspective of capital optimization allocation,and it provides a new theoretical mechanism explanation for the implementation mode of Beijing state-owned enterprise groups’ capital optimization allocation driving transformation and upgrading.At the practical level,taking the BBMG Group as an example,general suggestions for transformation and upgrading are extracted,which provide practical reference and enlightenment for Beijing’s state-owned enterprises in exploring industrial transformation and upgrading,and for Beijing’s state-owned enterprises to become stronger,better,and larger. |
