Abstract/Summary:
At this stage,China’s urban dust pollution is serious,not only covers several cities,and has a number of pollution sources,airborne harmful substances into the human respiratory tract,making the urban population respiratory and chronic diseases of the disease rate and mortality are increasing year by year trend.The traditional method of dust suppression is mostly water sprinkling,which is not only less effective,but also wastes a lot of water and its practical application is greatly restricted.As a new dust suppression method,dust suppressant shows great advantages in terms of dust suppression effect,economic and environmental benefits,and has a wide development prospect as one of the effective means of urban road dust control.In this paper,we have developed a compound dust suppressant which combines wetting,bonding and coalescence with good dust suppression effects and is mainly used for dust suppression on roads.The dust suppressant solution is sprayed out as a water mist to slow down the dust by wetting and bonding the fine dust particles in the air,causing them to settle faster and forming a continuous and complete film on the ground.In this study,demonstrates that a mixture of sodium alginate,polyvinyl alcohol and cellulose has good film-forming properties and can be used as a coagulant.In addition,through monomer experiments,cocamidopropyl betaine with good wetting effect,magnesium sulp Hate with continuous hygroscopicity and glycerol with good moisture retention were selected as experimental raw materials based on water contact angle,hygroscopicity and water retention.To investigate the effect of compounding polymeric mixtures with surfactants,water retention agents and moisture absorbers on the performance of dust suppressants,an orthogonal test table was designed to select the optimum formulation.By means of ANOVA and ANOVA,the optimised formulation was determined to be a polymer mixture of 0.45%by mass,0.03%cocamidopropyl betaine,0.45%magnesium sulp Hate and 2.5%glycerol.The experimental indicators of the optimised formulation were tested and measured to have a PH value of 6.32 and a viscosity of 19.3cp;a contact angle of 66.5°with the dust particles;a water retention rate of 3.2%at 45°C;and good sprayability and film formation.The application performance of the optimised formula was tested,and it was measured that the dust suppressant not only has good penetration effect on dust particles at high temperature,but also maintains good film formation and water retention at low temperature,proving that it can be used throughout the year;through laboratory simulation experiments,it was measured that the best dilution ratio of dust suppressant is 1:120,and the dust fixation rate can reach 98%when the spraying volume is 0.1L/m~2;small-scale Small-scale field tests and field experiments prove that the road dust suppressant can effectively replace water sprinkling dust suppression,dust suppression efficiency is around 40%~60%,which has a positive effect on reducing road dust.
