Industrial energy consumption has attracted much attention. However, with the rapid economic development, energy utilization efficiency has gradually improved, the proportion of resident daily energy consumption has begun to rise, and per capita energy consumption has increased significantly. Then the issue of life energy consumption has also begun to become the focus of attention.Among them, rural living energy accounts for a relatively small proportion of Chinese total energy use.The high-polluting and high-emission energy consumption dominates, and energy utilization efficiency is low. This causes energy waste and affects pollutant emissions, health and climate.Optimizing the rural energy consumption structure has become an important way to reduce energy consumption and prevent and control air pollution. The coastal areas of North China Coastal Area, with relatively rapid economic development in China, have become one of the most severely polluted areas. On the one hand, this is related to the development of local heavy industry and the large amount of pollution emissions. On the other hand, emissions from residential energy consumption cannot be ignored, especially in the rural areas where energy efficiency is low and the energy consumption structure is backward. This paper collects data from a field questionnaire survey in coastal rural areas of North China, unifies the physical consumption of various energy sources through the standard coal coefficient, and calculates the consumption and structure of rural energy consumption.According to its regional differences, the Tobit multiple regression model is used to quantitatively analyze its influencing factors. Finally, the emission factor coefficient method is used to calculate the potential value of the environmental impact of energy consumption, and to explore impacts on the environment.First of all, descriptive statistics show that energy consumption in coastal rural areas is still dominated by high-polluting energy sources such as coal and straw and firewood.Among them, rural per capita energy consumption in Beijing ranks first, followed by Hebei and Tianjin, and Shandong has the lowest consumption. The energy consumption structure of rural life in Beijing is the cleanest, with the highest consumption of electricity and gas.The Tianjin and Hebei province presents a consumption structure that places equal emphasis on coal and electricity and gas, with large internal differences. The energy consumption structure in Shandong is the traditional high-polluting energy consumption structure, mainly coal and straw firewood.Secondly, construct cross-sectional data, take various energy types as dependent variables, and select 6 aspects of household population structure, geographical conditions, energy utilization, living conditions, resource endowments and household economic conditions, consider 12 indicators and use Tobit multiple regression model to analyze. It is concluded that the rural energy consumption in coastal areas of North China is mainly affected by household economic level, population structure, resource storage and geographical conditions. Finally, the emission factor method is used to calculate the emission of greenhouse gases and pollutants such as CO2,SO2,NOx and TSP produced in the process of rural household energy consumption. The results show that Tianjin has the highest emissions in North China coastal rural areas, followed by Hebei and Shandong, and finally Beijing.Among them, coal is the main source of pollution in Hebei, and coal and straw firewood are the main sources of emissions in Beijing,Tianjin, and Hebei. And then, according to the calculation of the potential value of environmental impact, the energy emissions of rural areas contribute the most to greenhouse gas emissions, followed by environmental acidification and human health hazards, and the contribution rate of smoke and dust is the lowest. The current energy consumption structure which high energy consumption and high pollution in coastal rural areas of North China needs to be changed. This requires the government to carry out reasonable environmental protection policy guidance, such as increasing support for clean energy, raising rural residents awareness of environmental protection, and improving their living standards.Local residents should adapt measures to local conditions, develop characteristic new energy sources, and accelerate the transformation of rural life energy to a clean and energy-efficient consumption structure.
