Flue gas is a mixture of gas and soot with complex composition,which is the main cause of air pollution in residential areas.The gas includes water vapor,SO2,N2,O2,CO,CO2hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides(NOx),etc.The smoke dust includes fuel ash,coal particles,oil droplets and high temperature pyrolysis products,etc.In this study,SO2 and nitrogen oxides(NOx)in flue gas were taken as examples to explore their effects on groundwater environment.The rapid development of Jiyuan industry leads to the discharge of a large amount of SO2 and NOx into the atmosphere,which has an impact on the groundwater environment of Jiyuan Basin.In this study,Shukarev classification method,single factor evaluation method and modified Nemerow index method were used to discuss the effects of flue gas on the groundwater environment in Jiyuan Basin.(1)Due to the special terrain jiyuan basin,the distribution of the northern and western piedmont factory emissions of SO2,NOx,it is difficult to spread outward,gathered in the upper basin and react with the water in the atmosphere,then forms an acidic rainfall,and react with northern mountainous area of large area of bare carbonate,directly affect the ion concentration in groundwater,which can lead to groundwater environmental change.(2)In 2000,the hydrochemical types in the study area are mainly HCO3-Ca and HCO3-Ca·Mg.In 2018,the hydrochemical types in the study area are mainly HCO3·SO4-Ca·Mg.The concentration of SO42-in the groundwater increases greatly,which leads to the change of hydrochemical types,especially in the northern mountainous area.Due to the large amount of vehicle exhaust emissions in Jiyuan City,the concentration of NO3-(N)in the atmosphere gradually increases,which makes the acid rain type change from sulfuric acid type to sulfuric acid and nitric acid mixture type.After the formation of acid rain,the concentration of NO3-(N)in the groundwater also increases.(3)Under the influence of flue gas,the groundwater environment of Xiaozhuang water source changed greatly.The concentrations of SO42-,NO3-(N),total hardness and soluble total solid in the groundwater of Xiaozhuang water source in 2019 are 2.72,6.59,0.51 and 0.59 times of those in 1990,respectively.The revised Nemero index also increased from 0.282 to 0.62.(4)Since"the twelfth five-year plan",jiyuan city environmental protection agency,seriously implement the national,provincial,municipal major policy decisions,strengthen the atmosphere and groundwater protection and management,so compared with 2016,although the content of SO42-,NO3-(N),Cl-,total hardness,total soluble solid in the study area increased slightly in 2018,the overall change was not significant,prevention and control has shown initial success.
