The end of the 20 th century and the beginning of the 21 st century are crucial times for the development of globalization.The transformation of modern forms is becoming more and more significant,and traditional folk culture has been presented in the form of intangible cultural heritage from ancient times to the present.Intangible cultural heritage refers to the forms of expression of traditional culture handed down from generation to generation by people of all ethnic groups and regarded as an integral part of cultural heritage,as well as the objects and places related to the forms of expression of traditional culture.At present,our country pays more and more attention to the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage,and more and more users begin to pay attention to the learning of traditional handicrafts.However,the traditional handicraft,which has been handed down for hundreds of years,has more complex manufacturing process and more obscure cultural knowledge,make the majority of users do not have a better way of learning or in-depth understanding.Under the background of the new era,how to let users participate in the traditional handicraft culture learning has been one of the social concerns.This study mainly studies the personalized learning mode of traditional handicraft based on semantic ontology theory.Firstly,this paper reviews the development of semantic theory at home and abroad,the research of personalized learning mode,and the research and development of traditional handicraft and the current learning form;Secondly,the theoretical framework of semantic ontology is built,according to the framework of semantic ontology,the information of Cantonese porcelain images,texts and videos collected from several museums in Cantonese were sorted out.The database of Cantonese porcelain has been established.Finally,from the perspective of applying database to build personalized learning of traditional handicrafts.Based on the cognitive process of users from cognition to transformation and then to innovation,the personalized learning mode of Cantonese porcelain was built.The learning process mainly includes three parts: personalized semantic retrieval learning,personalized image creative generation and personalized product customization.Finally,the feasibility of the scheme and the effectiveness of the learning mode are verified by the practice of Cantonese porcelain workshop.The research believes that the personalized learning mode of traditional handicraft based on semantic ontology can assist users to learn and recognize traditional culture,stimulate users’ interest in learning traditional handicrafts.It provides a new way of thinking for the education and learning form of traditional handicrafts,and plays a positive role in the inheritance and protection of traditional handicrafts.
