Xilinhot City is rich in grassland resources and coal resources, which is the spatial coupling area of ecological fragile area and resource rich area. The mining of coal resources can promote the development of regional social economy, but at the same time,large-scale open-pit mining has also caused a series of problems, such as dramatic land use change, degradation of landscape services and destruction of ecological structure function. Therefore,to explore the relationship between land use change and landscape service change is of great significance to maintain the stability of ecosystem structure and realize the sustainable development of grassland resources.Based on seven basic data, including land use and cover data, field survey data and carbon density data in 1991,1995,2000,2004,2008,2012 and 2016,taking Xilinhot large coal-fired power base as the research area, land use change and grassland landscape service as the research objects, the Arc GIS 10.7,Envi 5.0,Ecognition8and Invest model were applied to analyze the temporal and spatial dynamic changes of land use/cover in the study area, the grass yield, carbon storage and habitat quality of seven periods were quantitatively evaluated, and the influence of land use/cover change on grassland landscape services was further studied. The results show that:(1)Large scale mining development leads to obvious changes in land use structure in different periods.Grassland is the main land use/cover type in the study area, accounting for about two thirds of the study area. From 1991 to 2016,the area of grassland and water area decreased year by year, while the increase of industrial and mining storage land and urban land was the most obvious, other land use areas had increased, but the proportion of increase was low.The net decrease of grassland area was 21361.11 hm~2,among them,44.20%were converted into industrial and mining storage land, and 20.54%into urban land.(2)From 1991 to 2016,the spatial distribution pattern of grass yield in the study area was stable, showing a decreasing trend from northeast to southwest. The areas with higher average yield level were mainly concentrated in the east of the study area, while the average yield levels in central south, northeast and southwest were relatively low.On the time scale, the grass yield showed a decreasing trend.(3)The spatial distribution characteristics of carbon storage in the study area changed significantly, the highest value of carbon storage was mainly distributed in grassland area, and the lowest values are distributed on the surface and riverbed of Xilin River.Industrial and mining storage land and urban land were the land types with the greatest changes in the spatial distribution of carbon storage.Industrial, mining, and storage lands and urban land were the land types with the greatest changes in the spatial distribution of carbon storage.(4)The spatial distribution pattern of habitat quality in the study area was obvious, the areas with high habitat quality index were mainly distributed around the study area. However, the habitat quality indexes of mining area and surrounding areas in the middle of the city were low.During the past 26 years, the habitat quality of the study area changed with the expansion of urban and mining areas, the areas with high habitat quality index gradually decreased in the form of radiation.Although the habitat quality index decreased year by year, the overall habitat quality was still higher.(5)The landscape service value of grassland in the study area was the highest.During the study period,a large number of grasslands were converted to industrial, mining, and storage lands and urban land, resulting in a significant reduction of grassland landscape services in the study area.
