Study On Classification And Treatment Of Urban Domestic Waste In Hohhot

Since 2000,with the development of urban social economy and the improvement of residents’ consumption level,the contradiction caused by the increasing emissions of urban domestic waste in Hohhot has become increasingly prominent.The impact of waste problem on urban development,environmental protection and residents’ life can not be ignored.Under the background of green economy and sustainable development advocated by the state,how to promote the effective treatment of municipal solid waste classification,and truly realize the reduction,harmlessness and even resource utilization of municipal solid waste,has become a public issue of common concern to the government and the public.Since 2019,affected by administrative factors,Hohhot has become one of the inland non first tier cities in China,which started to implement the urban domestic waste classification policy earlier.In the absence of reference experience and mature and complete waste classification and disposal system,how to effectively promote the smooth implementation of waste classification policy is naturally a problem worthy of study.In this thesis,we use two dimensions to analyze the current situation of Hohhot’s municipal solid waste classification and treatment,and compare and draw on the advanced experience and practice of other domestic and foreign municipal solid waste classification and treatment.Through literature review,interview survey,data analysis and other methods,we analyze the current situation of Hohhot’s municipal solid waste classification and treatment,and find out the deficiencies in the treatment work This thesis analyzes the deep causes of the problems,summarizes the advanced domestic and foreign domestic waste classification management experience,and then puts forward some suggestions to solve the problems.Based on the management ideas of the government in the process of providing public services for waste classification,this thesis summarizes the ways and methods of work,standardizes the work procedures,and provides suggestions for relevant work.The classified treatment of municipal solid waste is a systematic work that needs the wide participation of the whole society.The effective play of the public management function of government departments is the top priority to ensure the firm and effective promotion of the overall work.In the process of carrying out the work,the first task of the government is to do a good job in the top-level design,and the second is to guide the standardization and supervision according to law.From the results of Hohhot in recent years,the government’s overall responsibility,lack of system and supervision obviously reduce the efficiency.In this thesis,the government’s role of regulation,guidance and supervision,citizen oriented,rule by law and limited government are the only magic weapon that public management departments must adhere to in promoting the work of urban domestic waste classification and treatment.
