Study On The Design Of "Bird" Shape In Food Utensils From Shang To Han Dynasty

With the development of Chinese food culture for thousands of years,the food utensils as cultural carriers contain the brilliant and exquisite wisdom of ancient people.Many excellent bionic forms have emerged.As a special kind of animal form,bird has its unique shape characteristics and flying ability.It is adored and yearned by people in the period of ignorance.This makes the Bird theme become a kind of profound intention in ancient creation,and also makes the catering equipment with bird configuration stand out in function and aesthetics.In this paper,we choose the bird shaped food utensil from Shang to Han Dynasty,which has a large number and various features,and tries to sort out the morphology of its categories systematically,and then explores its internal design elements and cultural semantic characteristics.This paper focuses on the food utensils which present the image of auspicious birds or natural birds in the whole or parts of archaeological literature and museum collection materials,and uses the combination of design art and archaeology to carry out the research.After expounding the research purpose,significance,research object and research status of the subject:firstly,trace the origin of ancient bird culture and bird shaped utensils,and on this basis,summarize the background and development of utensils;secondly,classify the bird shaped utensils according to the overall and local configuration characteristics,and establish the pedigree according to the characteristics of the utensils The characteristics of the bird sort out its image source;thirdly,study the configuration of bird body in the practical modeling,explore the relationship between "bird body structure" and "bird body structure";fourthly,starting from the study of aesthetic factors such as material art,pattern decoration and the symbolic characteristics of bird body,this paper studies the "beauty" characteristics of utensils and the evolution of their cultural artistic conception;finally,on the basis of design research,this paper summarizes the creation method of Bird Image eating utensils from Shang to Han Dynasty,the design path of "integration of emotion and reason" and the creation idea of "integration of culture and quality",and constructs a feasible design inheritance method of modern bionic eating utensils.From the "design phenomenon" of the utensils to the "cultural context of the era",this paper attempts to interpret the unique design temperament of ancient bionic creations from the unique perspective of "birds" in a subtle way,which provides new ideas and references for the research of such creations,and also contributes a new possibility to the inheritance of traditional bionic creation ideas.
