Innovation is the core competitiveness of technology-based enterprises.Each employee is the basic unit of the enterprise,and the innovation of the company comes from the innovative behavior of each employee.Therefore,research on employee’s innovative behavior is very important.Personality traits can reflect the difference in psychology and behavior among individuals.Personality traits theory holds that traits are the basic characteristics that determine individual behavior.Based on the phenomenon of personality traits and innovative behaviors of employees in company U,this thesis analyzes and summarizes the relationship and correlation between personality traits and innovative behaviors through empirical research.The openness and risk-taking are selected from a variety of personality types as independent variables,with innovative self-efficacy and perspective taking as adjustment variables,to study the influence mechanism between personality traits and innovative behaviors of employees.Finally,through Statistical methods,it is concluded that both openness and risk-taking are positively correlated with the employee’s innovative behavior.Innovative self-efficacy plays a regulatory variable between openness and employee’s innovative behavior.The perspective taking plays a regulatory variable between the risk-taking and the employee’s innovative behavior.According to the conclusion of this thesis,relevant suggestions and methods are put forward for company U in terms of recruitment and allocation,training and development,and personality traits exploration.This thesis will fill the gap in innovation ability improvement and innovation behaviors prediction,promote the matching degree between management methods and personality traits of employees,and then enhance innovation,positivity and initiative of employees.Eventually,promoting the innovation capacity and competitiveness of company U.In the field of organization behavior,this thesis studies the innovative behaviors of employees from the perspective of personality traits.The purpose is to make the future management more psychological and more deeply into the employee’s psychological level.
