Due to the dynamics,diversity,uncertainty,personnel dependence and other characteristics,batch process is more difficult to operate and control as compared with continuous process,thus leading to a higher risky system.Safety interlock achieved by the devices,like DCS,is not enough to meet the process requirements.Therefore,it is also necessary to install safety instrumented system(SIS)for the devices in batch process.The evaluation methods of safety integrity level(SIL)have proposed by IEC61508/IEC61511 and other standards,but no personnel intervention about the batch process are involved in those standards nor related studies,and no systematic evaluation model has been established either.Besides,the accurate quantification of man-caused impact on the reliability of safety instrumented systems,the reliability confirmation of safety instrumented systems under human factors impact and its optimization are the issues to be solved in such working conditions.Based on the requirements for safety instrumented systems in IEC 61508/IEC 61511 and typical SIS about the batch process,a reliability evaluation model for safety instrumented systems under human factors impact for batch process is established.Petro-HRA combined with HAZOP and LOPA methods,Monte Carlo analysis(MCA)combined with Markov method are adopted for SIL determination and SIL verification respectively,to solve the problem of poor data impact on safety instrumented system verification.Variance Contribution Analysis(VCA)combined with Markov method is adopted to identify key factors and their impact levels.Based on the study above,optimization researches are conducted for the SIS under its SIL requirements,including the optimization analysis to redundant structure(homogeneous structures and diverse redundancy structures),test strategy optimization analysis(Periodic Function Test and Partial stroke test)and human reliability optimization strategy.Finally,based on IEC 61508/IEC 61511 and the model established in this thesis,a high efficient software is developed by MATLAB GUI,to achieve the reliability evaluation of the SIL under human factors impact in batch process,which can provide technical guidance on specific working condition.
