| Gothic art was born in medieval France,and the specific time can be traced back to around1140.It can be said that Gothic art has a milestone significance in the entire history of Western art,occupying a pivotal position.The essence of Gothic art is reflected in Gothic architecture.At the same time,Gothic art is also vividly reflected in various art forms such as painting,clothing,and crafts.Gothic art is the pinnacle of European medieval art,and the Gothic period pattern is undoubtedly the most beautiful constituent element in Gothic art and the most extreme expression of the unique charm of Gothic art.The clothing has become gorgeous and exquisite because of the patterns,which endows the artistic value of fashion in visual aesthetics.This thesis is a research on an innovative design of Gothic patterns.A relatively new perspective is used to conduct an aesthetic analysis of the artistic style of the Gothic period.Understand macroscopically the formation and development of Gothic art,and have a comprehensive understanding of this distinctive artistic style.Firstly,from the perspective of artistic form,the article summarizes and analyzes the characteristics of Gothic architecture,painting and clothing.Secondly,from an aesthetic point of view,the three Gothic pattern art forms of Gothic architectural patterns,painting patterns and costume patterns are organized and analyzed.And summed up the inherent advantages of Gothic patterns.At the same time,it illustrates the application of Gothic patterns on clothing.Then,two innovative design paths,the fusion of Gothic patterns and contemporary culture and the fusion of popular elements,are described.This thesis also expounds the innovative design method of Gothic patterns: the layout of Gothic patterns on clothing and the diversified expression methods of Gothic patterns.Finally,according to the obtained innovative design method of Gothic pattern,centering on the current trend,the Gothic pattern is applied to the innovative design of fashion. |
