The prevention and control of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)has become the focus of air pollution control.Adsorption is the most widely used VOCs treatment technology,and the key of this technology is adsorption materials.Activated carbon has become the most popular adsorption material because of its low price,but its hydrophobicity and desorption efficiency are low.Based on this,the development of cost-effective hydrophobic adsorption materials is urgently needed by the market.In this paper,a new type of cost-effective hypercrosslinked polymer(MAC-DVB resin)was prepared with chloroisobutylene(MAC)as monomer and divinylbenzene(DVB)as crosslinking agent.The specific surface area of MAC-DVB resin was 1292 m~2/g.The orthogonal optimization conditions of the resin were as follows:the mass ratio of monomer(MAC/DVB/toluene)was 1:2:1,the swelling time was 16 h,and the post crosslinking time was 12 h.The amount of catalyst and swelling agent was 14%and 6 times of that of the pre crosslinked resin,respectively.In this paper,the static adsorption capacity of MAC-DVB resin for toluene and the dynamic adsorption behavior at high humidity were investigated.The results show that the static saturated adsorption capacity of MAC-DVB resin for toluene is as high as 724.5 mg/g,which is 1.44 times of LX-Ⅱresin,2.75 times of HG-2 resin,1.71 times of ordinary activated carbon and 4.06 times of ZSM-5 molecular sieve,respectively;the dynamic saturated adsorption capacity of MAC-DVB resin at high humidity almost does not decrease;during the dynamic adsorption process,with the gas concentration(200 ppm,160 ppm and 120 ppm),the dynamic adsorption capacity of MAC-DVB resin is almost the same as that of LX-Ⅱresin The results showed that the adsorption time of high humidity toluene on MAC-DVB resin was prolonged with the decrease of gas flow rate(240 ml/min,200 ml/min and 160 ml/min).In this paper,the regeneration performance of MAC-DVB resin was further discussed,and the effects of different desorption methods,desorption temperature and desorption time on the desorption efficiency were investigated.The results show that both thermal desorption and vacuum desorption have good regeneration effect on MAC-DVB resin,and the latter is better;the vacuum desorption efficiency increases with the increase of desorption temperature and desorption time;according to the better regeneration conditions(vacuum desorption at110℃for 30 min),MAC-DVB resin can be recycled for at least 6 times.In conclusion,the orthogonal optimization conditions(pore structure control parameters),adsorption characteristics(static adsorption capacity,dynamic adsorption behavior)and regeneration performance(regeneration conditions,recycling times)of MAC-DVB resin were explored.
