The stakeholders who are indispensable in the development of tourism are called core stakeholders, and they play a very important role or have a great influence on the development of tourism destinations.Studying the demands of core stakeholders will help to coordinate the problems that exist between them, thus providing the possibility of realizing the sustainable development of tourism destinations. This article takes Hubei Fanwanhu National Wetland Park as the research site, which became a national wetland park in 2017 and promotes the development of local eco-tourism and rural tourism. The thesis focuses on the four types of local core stakeholders—government agencies, local communities, tourists and tourism enterprises. It uses literature research methods, interview methods, and questionnaire survey methods, combined with stakeholder theory and symbiosis theory to benefit analyze the appeal to find out the main problems existing among the core stakeholders.Through research,it is found that the main demands and existing problems of core stakeholders are as follows:(1)Government agencies expect to obtain ecological and economic benefits. The current ecological requirements are well fulfilled, but the level of economic development is not satisfactory.(2)The local community expects to increase villagers’ income and guarantee villagers’employment. At this stage, they are not satisfied with the realization of these two aspects.(3)Tourists want a better travel experience.Among them, they are very satisfied with the tourism environment and relatively satisfied with the infrastructure construction, but they are not satisfied with tourism safety, service quality and service facilities.(4)Tourism enterprises pay more attention to their own interests. They are not satisfied with the realization of the three demands of obtaining high return on investment, ensuring the long-term survival and development of enterprises, and expanding the popularity of tourist destinations to attract more tourists.(5)The main problems among the four types of core stakeholders are:①The contradiction between government ecological priority and enterprise investment return priority in the ecological red line planning, the conflict between the government’s expectation to drive local economic development and the enterprise’s focus on self-interest.②The government’s land acquisition and corresponding compensation cannot satisfy some villagers, and the tourism development policies issued by the government restrict the life and production of local communities.③The jobs provided by tourism companies cannot meet the needs of local villagers, and tourism companies form a competitive relationship with local restaurant and homestay operators.④The construction of supporting service facilities in the park, the safety guarantee system, the service level of employees, the construction of public transportation infrastructure, and the manifestation of local characteristics are contradictions that fail to meet the expectations of tourists. Finally, based on the research conclusions,in order to coordinate the contradictions of the core stakeholders’ appeals, suggestions are made for their existing problems:(1)Government agencies guide and supervise the operation of tourism enterprises;(2)Government agencies formulate compensation mechanisms for behaviors that harm the interests of local communities due to tourism development;(3)Tourism companies seek tourism dividends for the employment and income generation of local communities;(4)Make up for the shortcomings of the park to create a better tourism environment and atmosphere for tourists.
