Impact Of Environmental Information Disclosure On Growth Of Listed Electric Power Companies Research

With the continuous improvement and deterioration of the ecological environment in China,natural disasters occur frequently,so it is urgent to improve the ecological environment in China.People from all walks of life pay more and more attention to environmental health responsibility,and the requirements of the responsibilities and environmental obligations of enterprises are also increasing.The power enterprises in the heavy pollution industry are paid more and more attention and take more social responsibilities in environmental protection.The environmental information disclosed in the financial report and social responsibility report of an enterprise is the most direct and fastest way for the outside world to know the performance of the environmental protection obligations of the enterprise.The different levels of environmental information disclosure directly affect the comprehensive evaluation of the enterprises,and then affect the business performance and growth of enterprises.The topic selection has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper explores the influence of environmental information disclosure on the growth of power enterprises,and conducts research according to the thought of "factors influence path".Based on the theoretical analysis and literature research,the paper carries out empirical research.Firstly,the research combs the relevant research at home and abroad,explains the related concepts of environmental information disclosure quality and enterprise growth,and puts forward the research ideas and context of this paper.This paper puts forward the research hypothesis based on the characteristics of power enterprises,and makes a preliminary analysis and judgment on the relationship between environmental information disclosure and enterprise growth.The research takes a listed company of A-share power in China as a sample,and combines the characteristics of environmental information disclosure in power industry,and constructs a research model of the impact of environmental information on the growth of enterprises.The research also establishes the environmental information evaluation index to measure the quality of environmental information disclosure of power enterprises.The paper uses the principal component analysis method to analyze the financial indicators,and constructs the function comprehensive score to quantify the growth of enterprises.The research constructs the multiple linear regression model and studies the correlation between them,and further tests the correlation between environmental information disclosure and the growth of enterprises lagging behind the first period.The empirical results show that with the increasing attention of government and all walks of life on environmental information,the detailed degree of environmental information disclosure of power enterprises is also increasing year by year;The environmental information disclosure has a significant positive correlation with the growth of the enterprise,and the improvement of the environmental information disclosure level is helpful to the sustainable development of the enterprise;Because of the delay of environmental cost input effect,environmental information disclosure has a significant positive impact on the growth of enterprises lagging behind the first period.Based on this,the paper puts forward the following suggestions to improve the environmental information disclosure:in the internal governance level,we should improve the environmental awareness of enterprises,pay attention to the strategy of information disclosure and strengthen the effectiveness of internal control,establish a unified environmental information disclosure standard,establish a third-party review organization and give full play to the role of media publicity and supervision.This paper has enriched and enriched the research in the field of environmental information disclosure,expanded the research on the impact of environmental information disclosure.The evaluation system of environmental information disclosure quality proposed in this paper has certain guiding significance for the environmental information disclosure of power enterprises.The empirical research results inject power into the enterprises’ active disclosure of environmental information and contribute to the sustainable development of enterprises,We will promote the further development of environmental protection in China.
