Electrospinning nanofiber filtration technology is a very effective dust removal technology.It significantly improve the filtration efficiency,while reducing the filtration pressure drop.There are three main mechanisms by which nanofiber filter membranes capture particulates:inertial collision,interception,and Brownian diffusion.The diameter of traditional fiber filter materials is 5-50μm in the micrometer range.In recent years,with the improvement of electrospinning technology,nanofiber thin layers have been manufactured.The new nano-fiber filter materials are sub-micron or nanometers(10-100 nm).Nanofiber materials show some excellent properties,such as high specific surface area and volume ratio,excellent surface flexibility and mechanical properties(such as stiffness and tensile strength).These properties give nanofibers a very wide range of applications.This paper summarizes the main research results of nanofiber filter materials in air filtration in recent years,briefly describes the filtration mechanism of electrospun nanofibers,and based on literature research,starts research from the perspective of electrostatic spinning technology.The technology sprays polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)to efficiently prepare fiber filtration membranes at different solution concentrations and voltages,and observes the microscopic morphology of the fibers by SEM electron microscopy to study the filtering effect on respirable particulate matter.And then design an experimental scheme and set up an experimental bench.The 7811 aerosol generator is used to generate particles with different particle sizes,and the number,concentration,and pressure drop of the particles before and after the filter layer are measured to investigate the effect of solution concentration on the filtration performance of the nanofiber filter layer.Through the experimental data,analysing the purification effect of the thin layer of nanofibers on fine particles,including pressure drop characteristics,filtration efficiency,quality factor,etc.Finally reveal reasonable electrospinning solution concentration and electrospinning voltage of nanofiber-reinforced fine particles removal,and lay the foundation for the optimal design of fiber filters.
