In recent years,the increasing amount of food waste had become an urgent problem in environmental governance with the improvement of people’s living standard.The high moisture content and the perishable smell of food waste increased the difficulty of collection,transportation and secondary treatment,which made exploring the biochemical degradation process of food waste from the source had become an important way.Biochemical degradation of food waste is a method of on-site degradation of food waste by means of oxidative decomposition of microorganisms.The household organic waste biological processor can effectively reduce the amount of household food waste,eliminate the organic waste at the source,and the residue can be used as organic fertilizer after treatment,which is a beneficial supplementary method for urban organic waste treatment.This study focused on the main factors affecting the operation of household organic waste biological processing and the characteristics of the treated products as organic fertilizer,then inoculated with microbial agents,selected carrier materials,optimized operation process parameters,analyzed the change of microbial community diversity in the process of food waste degradation by highthroughput sequencing technology,and investigated the quality of the treated residue as organic fertilizer,so as to provide an experimental basis for determining the efficient operation and product utilization of food waste by household organic waste biological processor.The main conclusions were as follows:(1)The effects of microbial inoculation and non-inoculation on the treatment of food waste were compared,and the microbial community changes in the process of food waste disposal were analyzed by high-throughput sequencing technology.The results showed that the microbial community richness and diversity of the inoculating group were significantly higher than that of the inoculating group.In the inoculating group,there was no obvious odor in the treatment process,and the reduction rate of the food waste running continuously for 15 days was 89.13%.In the non-inoculation group,there was obvious odor on the 6th day,and the reduction rate was only 60.26%.The inoculation of microbial agent can obviously promote the reduction and degradation of food waste.(2)Compared the effects of different bacterial carrier materials such as coconut bran,wood chips,wheat bran,buckwheat hulls and commercially available carriers(a mixture of wood chips and wheat bran)on the treatment of food waste.The results showed that there was no obvious odor in the continuous operation of the treatment group with coconut bran as the carrier of bacterial agent,and the waste reduction rate was the highest,reaching 89.05%,it was the most suitable carrier material for household organic waste biological processor.(3)Research on optimization of processing parameters of household organic waste biological processor for processing food waste was carried out.The optimal operation parameters were: moisture content was 55%,inoculation was 3:2,p H was 8.3.The influence of each factor on the reduction rate was in the order of p H,moisture content,material ratio.(4)After the treatment of food waste,the C/N of the residue was 16.88,the seed germination index was 90.16%,the organic matter content was 58.29%,the total nutrient was 6.23%,the moisture content was 28.36%,the p H was 6.43,which reached the relevant standards of China’s organic fertilizer(NY525-2012)and could be used as bio-organic fertilizer.
