| With the further deepening of international industrial gradient transfer, and the fact that the investment value of petrochemical industry has increased steadily, the ratio of transnational direct investment in new chemical projects tend to increase. An important issue facing the transnational investment in new chemical projects is project site selection, the success or failure of project site selection determines to a large extent the success or failure of investment, while the possibility of using scientific and reasonable project site assessment methodology is the key to success of site selection.By drawing on the internationally popular site evaluation methods on the basis of transnational investment environment assessment, and combing with the industry characteristics of chemical projects, this paper is to put forward, from the perspective of transnational investors,a general method of new chemical project site selection assessment. It emphatically introduced the index system of influencing factors on chemical project site selection, approaching the factor weight set and scoring mechanism, and proposed the screening process of candidate sites, and creatively built the windmill model of comprehensive assessment of project site;Assisted by an empirical analysis on the case of a multinational chemical company’s phenol project,it verified the operability of applications of the proposed method and model. It has a certain reference value for site selection assessment of chemical industry as well as other industries. |
