| The cashew nut shell liquid is a kind of dark brown oily liquid extracted from cashew nut shell,it contains 60%~90% cardanol,the other ingredients are cardol,tannic acid,cashew oleoresin,glucose and so on.The cashew nut shell liquid is a kind of renewable biomass resources,it has higher research value and wide application foreground.The Cashew nut shell liquid was purified by vacuum distillation.The optimum purified conditions were: temperature: 240℃,absolute pressure: 500 Pa,operation time:2.5 hours.Under the optimum condition,the total yield could reach 85.81% and the purity of cardanol could achieve above 95%.And all properties of cardanol could reach the standard requirement.The cardanol and ethylene oxide were taken as original materials,and the cashew phenol polyoxyethylene ether could be synthesized by the oxide addition reaction.We designed a novel tower reactor and set up a new process to synthetise the cashew phenol polyoxyethylene ether.The optimum process parameters were: temperature: 160℃,catalyst concentration: 0.4%,the feeding rate of cardanol: 30 m L/min.The reaction rate curve was drawn according to the experimental data.The cashew phenol polyoxyethylene ether with different ethylene oxide number(CPEO-n)could be synthesized with different hours.We tested the hydrophilic lipophilic balance(HLB),critical micelle concentration(CMC),cloud point and emulsifying property of CPEO-8,CPEO-9,CPEO-10,CPEO-11 and CPEO-12,the experimental data showed that the HLB,CMC,cloud point and emulsifying property increased with the increase of the number of ethylene oxide.The cloud point and emulsifying property of cashew phenol polyoxyethylene ether were similar to that of nonylphenol ethoxylates.But the cashew phenol polyoxyethylene ether was more oleophilic than nonylphenol ethoxylates.It was a new type of high performance non-ionic surfactant,which had good development and application prospects. |
