An Analysis Of Influential Factors Of Rural Scale Breeding Farmer’s Investment Behavior In Large And Medium-sized Biogas Engineering

The economic development in China has transformed from a focus on the speed to the quality,pushing the sustainable development concept been gradually accepted.Although the raising development of livestock breeding has brought tough task in environmental protection and pollution control,the promotion of policies including prohibition and restriction on retail breeding makes scale breeding a focus in the future development.Large and medium-sized biogas engineering is strongly popularized by the government as an important measures to solve the pollution problems of scale livestock farming.Therefore,Looking for the related factors of scale breeding farmer’s investment behavior in large and medium-sized biogas engineering is beneficial to promote the popularization of large and medium-sized biogas engineerin g in rural areas,and provide the basis for policy making.This essay follows a research idea of asking a question,analyzing question and solving question through methods of literature,empirical questionnaire and statistical analysis.Nan’an County in Fujian Province is selected as the study area for its typicality in livestock breeding and biogas engineering development.A field research and questionnaires on local scale breeding farmers is conducted to analyze local livestock farming and biogas engineering development status,hoping to explore the significant factors that affect the local scale breeding farmers in investing biogas engineering thereby put forward specific countermeasures and suggestions.This article is divided into the following sections:Firstly,it summarizes and analyzes the research status home and abroad on various aspects of biogas projects,and selects economic factors and non-economic factors that affect scale breeding farmers’investment behavior in large and medium-sized biogas engineering combined with the pre-survey situation and based on theories including behavioral decision theory,households behavior theory,externality theory,asymmetric information theory,etc.Secondly,field research and questionnaire are conducted to obtain basic information about the current situation and existing problems of in developing livestock farming and biogas engineering in Nan’an County.Based on the survey data,it makes a descriptive statistics and analysis and studies the reasons that influences the local breeding farmers to invest in biogas projects initially.Furthermore,an empirical analysis of Nan’an County’s scale breeding farmers’investment behavior in large and medium-sized biogas engineering is made through logistic regression model.Result shows that four influential factors including breeding farming scale,environmental awareness,expectation on the prospects of biogas engineering’s future development and the supervision of the local environmental protection department have significant influence impact on scale breeding farmers’ investment in biogas engineering.Factors like household income,ease of obtaining finance,availability of government subsidies,age,education,local biogas popularity and local biogas popularity turn out to be not.Finally,it puts forward suggestions according to the results of a questionnaire survey and empirical analysis.Efforts are expected to be made to promote of biogas technology to upgrade,improve the comprehensive utilization of biogas projects,establish perfect policy and financial support system,regularly organize environmental training for scale breeding farmers to aimed to enhance their environmental quality,and increase the supervision for scale livestock farming.
