With the increase of academic pressure, the incidence of myopia in school-age children is increasing, among which poor posture is one of the important inducing factors. It is the key to prevent myopia to intervene the bad posture in the learning process of school-age children.By analyzing the theory of sitting position and excellent ergonomic tables and chairs,it is found that the spine of human body is closer to the natural form under kneeling sitting position, and healthy sitting position is helpful to reduce the occurrence of myopia. Therefore, this paper takes kneeling posture as the research element. Therefore, this paper takes kneeling posture as the research element.School-age children are in the stage of rapid physical and mental development, and their sitting behavior is quite different from that of adults. This paper focuses on the study of school-age children aged 11 to 12,summarizes the law of their physical and mental development, and on the basis of theoretical research, carries out field investigation and questionnaire survey, summarizes the behavior law of children sitting on the learning table and chair. Finally, the three most common learning behaviors of reading, writing and using tablet computer were selected to carry out experimental research.Based on children's learning behavior, two experiments were designed.Kinect sensor was used to capture key body data of children in sitting position with Processing programming technology.Five sitting position discrimination indicators(visual distance, neck bending, trunk bending, trunk thigh Angle and knee Angle)were adopted. To analyze the changes of children's sitting position when reading, writing and using tablet computer in kneeling posture and normal sitting posture. The collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics, and it was found that in reading and writing tasks, kneeling posture can effectively reduce the rate of visual distance decline of children, and increase the proportion of neck bending and trunk bending at the healthy threshold. In the tablet task, kneeling and normal sitting had little effect on children's visual distance, and the proportion of neck bending and trunk bending exceeding the healthy threshold increased slightly. In addition, over time, children's body changes tend to increase in the two sitting positions, making it difficult to maintain a healthy sitting posture. It shows that children's body is gradually tired under the single sitting posture, and it is difficult to maintain a healthy sitting posture.Considering the physical and mental development characteristics of children and the prevention effect of myopia,it is suggested that children should use kneeling posture when reading and writing, and ordinary posture when using tablet computer. The switch of the two sitting states increases the variability of the table and chair, making children in a more comfortable state, and has a good myopia prevention effect. Finally, the theoretical research and experimental results are applied to the design of tables and chairs for children's myopia prevention. In this paper, the design object and use scenario are defined, and the functional factors, size factors, form factors and CMF factors of the product are sorted out,so as to achieve better myopia prevention effect in a low cost way. This paper designs a visual reminder module and applies it to the appearance scheme of desks and chairs. Finally,a design scheme was selected for deepening, prototyping and design evaluation.
