In this paper,the effects of different types Styrene-Butadiene Rubber(ESBR and SSBR),different types of Butadiene Rubber(BR)and different kinds of silane coupling agents on the comprehensive properties of PCR tread compound were studied,and the formula of under tread compound with low hysteresis property was also studied.The test results showed that the compound using both end functionalization of SSBR SOL5251 H has lower filler network,lower payne effect and better filler dispersion than mono-chain end functionalization of NS624,F2150 and none modification of SLR6430 compound.And compound using SOL5251 H has higher hardness and tensile strength than others because of higher binding force between the filler and rubber with higher filler dispersion.At the same time,we found that the 60? tan? value of compound using SOL5251 H was lower than others and then it was benefit for developing lower rolling resistance tire.The 0? tan? value of compound using SLR6430 with higher styrene contents was the higher than others and then it was benefit for wet grip resistance performance.Comparing with BR9000,Nd BR can reduce the hysteresis loss of compound and then improve the tire rolling resistance performance.And the test results showed that the wet grip performance of KBR820 T and BR9000 was the best,although the hysteresis of the compound using Nd BR was decreased while the wet grip resistance was also reduced.And the Tg of KBR820 T was higer than other butadiene rubber with higher vinyl content and lower sis-butadiene content,So,the compound using KBR820 T has higher 0 ?,then the compound has better wet resistance performance,the filler dispersion was improved,the Payne effect and hysteresis of the compound was reduced because the molecular end of KBR820 T was modified.The influence on the comprehensive properties of tread compound using different types and dosage of silane coupling agent was also studied,and test results states the filler dispersion was improved,the Mooney Viscosity of compound also was decreased,By comparing the Si69 with Si747/NXT,the compound has lower Mooney Viscosity added the NXT and Si747,and the compound added the NXT has better scorching properties than Si747 and TESPT because the mercapto group in NXT was modified by octyl group.And this trend is more obvious with the increading of coupling agent amunt in compound.The compound added coupling agent has higher tan?at 0?,lower E'value at-30? and lower tan? value at 60?.So,the compound added silane of TESPT,NXT and Si747 has better wet grip,ice braking performance and lower hysteresis property than the compound without silane.The lower tan? value at 60? of compound added NXT and Si747 indicates that the lower hysteresis of compound and lower tire rolling resistance than TESPT.The DIN wear index of cured rubber with different silane coupling agents was much higher than reference compound without silane,because the dispersion of filler in compound was imporved and the physical property of compound was also improved by adding the silane coupling agent.The study also found that 60 ? tan? of compound using Nd BR and added the Carbon black dispersion agent and BMI was lower when we studied the low hysteresis of PCR tread cushion compound.And this decreased trend of the 60 ? tan? is obvious when the new material BMI was added into the compound.So,It was important to reduce the hysteresis loss of the compound to improve the tire rolling resistance performance by using new material Nd BR,carbon black dispersion agent and BMI.
