Recent years,antifogging polymer coatings have attracted much attention and research due to their effectively antifogging performance while maintaining the original transparency of the substrate materials.Based on these characteristics,antifogging polymer coatings are widely used in lens,windshield,medical equipment and so on,especially in transparent optical and electronic instruments.However,in practical applications,most antifogging polymer coatings are susceptible to scratches and other mechanical damage during use,which reduces the antifogging performance and transparency.In this paper,we have prepared a HSIL antifogging coating with intrinsic self-healing performance at room temperature by implanting a large number of supramolecular bonds(ion-dipole interaction)into polymer matrix.Overall,the main research content of this paper can be divided into two parts.In the first part,the zwitterionic monomer SBMA was synthesized using dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate and 1,3-propane sultone as raw materials.Block copolymer P(HFBM-co-SBMA)was synthesized by AIBN free radical copolymerization,the prepared SBMA as a hydrophilic monomer and hexafluorobutyl methacrylate HFBM as a hydrophobic monomer.Then adding1-ethyl-3-methylimidazole bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide ionic liquid(EMI-TFSI)into P(HFBM-co-SBMA)to prepare the self-healing material HSIL.Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Apparatus(NMR),Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer(FT-IR),Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM),Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC),Thermogravimetric Analysis(TGA),Tensile Tester and Dynamic Thermomechanical Analyzer(DMA)were used to characterize the structural composition,thermal stability,micro-morphology,mechanical and self-healing properties of self-healing HSIL.The results demonstrate that EMI-TFSI is uniformly dispersed in the P(HFBM-co-SBMA)polymer network.With the increase of EMI-TFSI content,the mechanical properties of the material are improved and T_g value is reduced.The highly electronegative F atoms in P(HFBM-co-SBMA)in HSIL form an ion-dipole interaction with the imidazole cation(EMI~+)of EMI-TFSI,and its T_g value is lower than room temperature.Therefore,HSIL has excellent intrinsic room temperature self-healing ability.In the second part,HSIL was dissolved in DMF,then dripped onto the glass substrate to prepare then self-healing antifogging coatings.The antifogging test,water swelling test and transparency test were used to prove the excellent antifogging performance and transparency.Antifogging properties of HSIL are from the ability to absorb moisture in the air quickly and efficiently,which can meet the application requirements of antifogging coating.Moreover,when HSIL coating is scratched,it can repair its transparency and maintain its antifogging ability after 24 hours at room temperature.
