In order to develop initiating explosive device with excellent performance of ESD protection,considerable energy output and Simple craft,in this paper,the firework products with amorphous carbon film as the energy converting element is designed and fabricated,the ignition performance and mechanism are studied,the main contents are as follows:(1)The amorphous carbon film with a flat and compact surface,strong bonding with substrate,and adjustable resistance is prepared by aerosol assisted chemical vapor deposition(AACVD).By characterizing and analyzing the carbon film prepared under different growth temperatures,growth time,carrier gas flow,and growth zone.the relationship between the growth conditions of carbon film deposition and the structure and electrical properties of the carbon film is established.The optimal growth condition of carbon film applied to energy conversion component of electric initiating explosive device are determined as the deposition temperature of 1100?,the deposition time of 2 h,the carrier gas flow rate of 50 m L/min,and the deposition interval in the middle of the reaction chamber.(2)The results show that the forming process of carbon film bridge is simple,the foot-to-foot static electricity of the carbon film bridge can withstand 30 KV,the ignition voltage/current range of the carbon film bridge is short,the function mechanism of the carbon film bridge is similar to that of a semiconductor bridge:there are processes of electric heating and electric explosion,and because of the high melting and boiling point and long phase transition time,carbon film bridge has a longer firing time than semiconductor bridge.(3)The insensitive carbon film bridge is used to ignite three common insensitive agents of B/KNO3,PETN and CL-20 at a constant current.The results show that the carbon film bridge can stimulate the insensitive agent under constant current,which is the most effective for B/KNO3and PETN,which can be excited under the current 1.3 A,1.5 A and 5 A.especially,the B/KNO3can be ignited under a constant current of 1.5 A for 100 ms.The simulation comparison of the action process of the carbon film bridge and the semiconductor bridge of the same shape and size under the action of constant current shows that the phase transition time of the carbon film bridge is longer than that of the semiconductor bridge.
