Exploration And Practice Of Silica Gel Material In Contemporary Jewelry

Nowadays,under the influence of multi-dimensional artistic trend,the influx of new materials brings various forms of artistic expression to the creation of artists.Artists also begin to express the creators' own emotional concepts with the help of the particularity of materials.In ancient China,the ancestors of the primitive period consciously began to choose jewelry materials to express and decorate themselves.With the continuous emergence of new materials over time,there are more and more available materials.Jewelry artists begin to consciously choose gold,silver and other precious metals to create,so as to highlight the symbol of people's wealth and status.At present,contemporary jewelry is more extensive and free in the choice of materials,respects the uniqueness and particularity of materials,and pays more attention to expressing the creators' emotional concepts with the help of the concept of output creation of materials.Therefore,jewelry artists' unique jewelry art works often go far beyond the inherent value of the materials used.Expressing the feelings and ideas of creation with the help of materials has become one of the main trends of contemporary art creation.In this paper,the author through the study of contemporary jewellery in material,choose the silicone materials as the main material of the artistic creation of contemporary jewellery,combined with domestic and foreign case analysis and comparison,the analysis of the present research situation and latest progress of silicone jewelry,art forms,through color,texture,the ratio of silica gel and modelling experiment to demonstrate the feasibility of silica gel used in contemporary jewelry,and then use the silicone material to explain my understanding of the silicone jewelry.The diversity of silica gel materials is demonstrated through the research on the involvement of silica gel in the creation of contemporary jewelry art.The rich modeling space,texture effect and color expression of silica gel jewelry are shown no matter in the plane,three-dimensional and hollow modeling.
