Research On Supply Chain Finance And Financial Risk Of Hb Iron And Steel Group

By the combining of industry and finance,supply chain finance is one of the effective methods to optimize the industrial structure during the allocation of economic resources.There are tremendous demands of capital and financial services for the development of supply chain finance in iron and steel enterprise groups.So,it is necessary to establish an effective financial service system to provide financial support for the development of enterprises.Meanwhile,For the complexity of supply chain in iron and steel enterprise groups and the higher requirement of financial services,there is a direct impact on the healthy development of this enterprise groups by the implementation of supply chain finance and corresponding financial risk management.Methods of this thesis were based on the combination of case analysis and normative analysis.Firstly,this thesis summarized the research of supply chain finance and its financial risk management at home and abroad,including the formation mechanism and business model of supply chain finance,the forming reasons and management of financial risk.Then,basic theories of the supply chain finance and financial risk management were discussed,including the concept and characteristics of supply chain finance,the causes,identification,evaluation,and control of enterprise financial risk,and other relevant financial theories.Based on the contents above,firstly,this thesis subdivided the supply chain financial business model of HB iron and steel group into three dimensions: that is the purchasing item,the internal item,and the sales item.Secondly,by the horizontal and vertical comparison of some financial indicators,this thesis expounded the possible financial risks faced by HB iron and steel group supposing that the industrial chain finance was carried out.Finally,some prevent measurements of financial risks were put forward,such as the purchasing side should pay more attention to the solvency of the enterprise and maintain a reasonable capital structure,more attention should be paid to the operational risks of the system and personnel within the group,also system integration and information security should be enhanced,the strengthen of the management of inventory and receivables,the reducing of capital occupation,the establishment of customer credit evaluation standards,and the prevention of breach of contract should be implemented in the sales side.It is hoped that this thesis could further enrich the research of the supply chain finance and its financial risk management,and provide reference for the relevant decision-makers.
