In today’s fast-paced,high-stress life,the more stressful it is,the more people want to spend more time resting and relaxing,releasing pressure in various ways,and pursuing a comfortable living environment.With the popularity of fitness sports and the rise of fashion sports,sports and leisure clothing has gradually become a must-have for the public.Sports and leisure clothing can meet the convenience and comfort of people’s activities and meet people’s pursuit of fashion and aesthetics.Athleisure wear has a broad audience group,and its design elements are also various.In the current context of advocating cultural confidence,the design of sports and casual wear based on local traditional culture can awaken young people to inherit and carry forward traditional culture and stimulate people’s attention to history.China has many traditional auspicious symbols decorated with dazzling colors.Most of these auspicious symbols were formed by the ancients through observation of nature,constant simplification,and refinement,and have a long history of evolution and development,which can be seen in the development and progress of Chinese culture.This article investigates how traditional Chinese auspicious symbols can be better integrated into athleisure wear and design comfortable and aesthetic clothing for people.Firstly,the paper starts from the research and analysis of sports and leisurewear to understand the origin and development of sports and leisurewear and summarize the expression and characteristics of sports and leisurewear.Secondly,starting from the interpretation of the concept of Chinese traditional auspicious symbols,the thesis analyzes the performance and characteristics of Chinese traditional auspicious symbols and the development and evolution of Chinese traditional auspicious symbols.The thesis analyzes the design and application of Chinese traditional auspicious symbols in sports and casual wear,the current design situation of traditional Chinese symbols in sports and casual wear,and some famous brands at home and abroad.The final paper is based on the current situation of Chinese traditional auspicious symbols in sports and leisurewear,carried out in three aspects of sports and leisurewear: silhouette,color,and fabric,and finally completed the design and production of the series of works.Chinese traditional auspicious symbols have the characteristics of formal beauty and contextual beauty.Under the current background of advocating cultural confidence,this article tries to interpret the traditional Chinese auspicious symbols with an innovative thinking path through the inheritance,application and promotion of the traditional Chinese auspicious symbols.Simultaneously,through continuous practice,this study explores the innovative design of the fusion of Chinese traditional auspicious symbols with sports and casual clothing,providing diversified thinking in the design of such style clothing.
