In this paper,poly(butyl methacrylate)(PBMA)was used as the wall material and jasmine essence was used as the core material to prepare essence nanocapsules.The essence nanocapsules were adsorbed on the surface of cotton cloth by dipping method to prepare aromatic cotton fabric.The changes in the surface properties and chemical composition of the cotton cloth after the adsorption of the essence nanocapsules were explored,and the kinetic and thermodynamic properties of the adsorption process of the essence nanocapsules on the cotton cloth surface were studied.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Firstly,the fragrance nanocapsule emulsion was prepared with different emulsifiers(Tween 80,polyoxyethylene castor oil and polyoxyethylene(21)stearyl ether).All three emulsifiers can control the particle size below 100 nm,but Integrating the morphology,particle size,dried state,emulsifier safety and product applicability of the flavor nanocapsules,the final formula selected in the experiment is Brij S721 as the emulsifier,the core material is jasmine flavor,and the wall material is PBMA,the initiator is AIBA,and the reaction temperature is80°C.2.The adsorption mechanism was systematically studied by characterizing the surface morphology,structure,crystallinity,composition,specific surface area,surface free energy and thermal stability of the cotton cloth with the essence nanocapsules.The results showed that the hydroxyl groups of the fragrance nanocapsules and the hydroxyl groups of the cotton fiber formed intermolecular hydrogen bonds,and the adsorption of the fragrance nanocapsules was mainly on the 101 and 101 surfaces of the cotton fiber.In addition,the adsorption of essence nanocapsules has little effect on the air permeability and porosity of cotton cloth.3.Through the combination of experimental research and theoretical calculation,the thermodynamic and kinetic properties of the adsorption process of fragrance nanocapsules on the surface of cotton cloth were further studied.The study found that the adsorption of the fragrance nanocapsules on the surface of the cotton cloth is a single layer uniform adsorption,and the adsorption process is divided into three stages: rapid external diffusion,internal diffusion and slow equilibrium.The fitting of the pseudo-second-order kinetic model shows the contribution of the internal diffusion mechanism to the adsorption process and shows that the adsorption has chemical properties.The adsorption process also has a good fit with the Bangham model,indicating that the diffusion of the fragrance nanocapsules into the pores of the cotton cloth is also a rate control mechanism.Therefore,in addition to the single layer adsorption coverage of the surface of the fragrance nanocapsules on cotton cloth,pore filling is also a key step to control the adsorption rate.
