Gradually in recent years,special materials of research into the public's field of vision,the development of the so-called special material plays a very important position in the development of the country,in the case of the economic downturn,non-ferrous metal prices are falling,but in contrast,labor costs and raw material costs are rising,the resulting profits dropped substantially,in the face of such situation in economic development,the company's first priority is to reduce the production cost of the whole company,the inventory cost is an important content of the cost of production,especially in the metallurgical industry,inventory cost accounts for a larger proportion,Therefore,it is of great significance to study how to control the company's inventory cost to reduce the company's production cost.This thesis studies the inventory cost management of RD company in the manufacturing industry of special materials,hoping to contribute to the company's inventory cost management and provide reference for other companies of the same type.This thesis first through the domestic inventory cost control research of relevant literatures,starting from the related concepts and theoretical basis of the cost of inventory management,combined with RD company financial data from 2015 to 2019,for the company's inventory cost management present situation analysis,found that the high inventory turnover and inventory to asset ratio on the high side,the company managers by questionnaires and visits,found that companies in inventory costs of purchasing cost on the high side,supply chain organization structure set unreasonable,supplier management is not perfect lead to high inventory,production workshop,Unreasonable inventory cycle and other problems lead to excessively high inventory costs.Using AHP analytic hierarchy process(AHP)combined with ABC inventory management of raw materials,the enterprise management emphasis on important raw materials,materials and specification of recipients,returned to the process in order to improve the efficiency of warehouse management,in the company's management to optimize the company's organizational structure,the inventory cost management of purchasing link building excellent purchasing team,build a supplier evaluation system,and a series of inventory cost management security measures,to expand the company's economic benefit,improve the company's core competitiveness,and the purpose of the comprehensive management level in the manufacturing industry.There are 32 figures,27 tables and 53 references in this thesis.
