Thermoplastic vulcanized rubber(TPV)has both the high elasticity of vulcanized rubber and the thermoplastic of plastics,and it has continuously replaced traditional vulcanized rubber in the fields of automobile,medical treatment,construction,daily necessity,electronic and electrical,etc.Based on the excellent airtightness and watertightness of butyl rubber(IIR),IIR is widely used in medical products such as rubber plugs,and using traditional molding production will produce a lot of leftover materials and cause about 15%of waste.Choosing polypropylene(PP)with similar solubility parameter to IIR to prepare IIR/PP TPV can fundamentally solve the waste of leftover materials,and can be processed for many times to reduce the cost.In the rubber-plastic blending stage,traditional TPV preparation has problems such as poor dispersion and stability,which is not conducive to the subsequent dynamic vulcanization(DV)and further affects the performance of TPV.Micro-nano laminated extrusion technology enables materials to achieve micron or even nanometer level dispersion and orientation through the processes of cutting,twisting,flattening,and laminating.In this thesis,the micro-nano laminated extrusion technology was used to complete the rubber-plastic blending in TPV preparation,and the influence of micro-nano laminated extrusion technology on the dynamic vulcanization and performance of IIR/PP TPV was investigated.The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the principle of micro-nano lamination and the characteristics of rubber-plastic blending,an experimental device for TPV rubber-plastic blending was built.The exploration experiment of preparing TPV premixed pellets by using this experimental device shows that the micro-nano laminated extrusion experimental device can prepare TPV premixed pellets with micron level dispersion and mixing as required.(2)The orthogonal test was used to determine the best vulcanization formula of IIR/PP TPV according to the maximum torque and the maximum minus minimum torque of TPV tested by torque rheometer.Using the best vulcanization formula,the IIR/PP TPV was prepared by micro-nano laminated extrusion technology and ordinary blending technology respectively.The analysis and comparison showed that the rubber-plastic dispersion and dynamic vulcanization performance of IIR/PP TPV prepared by the micro-nano laminated extrusion technology were better than ordinary blending.Through the testing of the hardness,mechanical properties,elastic modulus,and compression set of the IIR/PP TPV injection samples,the dynamic vulcanization process parameters of IIR/PP TPV premix prepared by the micro-nano laminated experimental device were systematically studied,and the optimal dynamic vulcanization temperature was 185?,and the optimal dynamic vulcanization screw speed was 100 rpm.(3)Different rubber-plastic ratio directly affects the material properties of IIR/PP TPV.IIR/PP premixed pellets with rubber-plastic ratio of 60/40,65/35,70/30,75/25 and 80/20 were prepared by micro-nano lamination experimental device,and the material properties of IIR/PP TPV masterbatch with different rubber-plastic ratio were obtained by testing and characterizing the injection samples.In this thesis,a new process of preparing TPV based on micro-nano lamination extrusion technology is proposed,and high-performance IIR/PP TPV with good rubber-plastic blending is prepared,which provides experimental basis for the industrialization of IIR/PP TPV in China and is conducive to promoting the development of domestic high-performance TPV.
